INTRODUCTION
Travel and tourism is fast growing sector overall the world.
People who loves to travel are spending their hard earned
money in travelling and exploring new places. This provides
variety of adventures travelling like education tour, business
tour for meeting and conferences
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
Heritage and culture is such experience which person gain of
particular place after visiting that particular country. London is the
most attractive nation all over the world which easily pull people
toward it. British Museum, Victoria and albert museum,
Buckingham Place are most visiting and attractive point of
London City. Through this entire process government earn huge
revenue or profit from tourism sector.
1940-1946- In this year first body of tourism was established for
supporting and protecting heritage and culture in United Kingdom
like library, arts and historical monuments, museum of nation.
1946-1990 – council was formed in this year for encouraging
music and art in all over the country. Fund for this is given by
government for promoting heritage and culture.
1990-1997 – In this various operation gates are formed which help
in generating income for heritage and culture industry. As well
this process is taken as major area of development related to the
growth of cultural and heritage industry.
1997-2000 this year’s play vital role
encouraging or promoting talent of the
people who are part of that particular
nation. For this various events are
organising like sports and cultural which
will motivate person to show their talent.
Growth and Development – Heritage and culture started in
1841 and firstly founded by Thomas Cook who was organise
first tourism program in Egypt. This industry is having high
growth rate and best sector as well they are working with the
motive of development and growth in each location.
Attractive – all over the world United Kingdom is attractive
place where people want to visit. It has place like Big Ben,
Fort, museum and many other. Along with this several other
benefits and facilities are also provided to the visitors. Apart
from this, government has taken several steps for promoting
heritage and culture like proper construction of roads,
transportation facilities which awaits travellers in easy
exploring places. There are 29 tourist places which are
attractive out of them 23 having their own historical
background. These help in generating income and add value
as well develop economy also for example Botanical garden
and Maritime Greenwich.
Natural – In the boundaries of United Kingdom there are four
natural places like forest, woodland, National parks, Gough
island and many more. As well UK is rich country in variety
of Flora and fauna compared to other nation in the world.
Heritage and culture – with the help of survey it has been
concluded that travel and tourism sector contributing huge
amount in development of economy by providing job
opportunities and give living standard to population of
countries. Local commodities and people help in developing
of same sector. When people visit UK from different
countries it generates income for government.
