Introduction
As discussed by Bradler et al. (2016), rewards can be defined as the positive outcomes
that are gained by the employees for the performances that are provided by them in different
organizational processes. The rewards that are provided to the employees are always aligned
with the goals that are set by the organization. The support that is provided by an
organization to proper achievement of the objectives and goals set by the management leads
to the rewards that are provided to them. The motivation levels that are provided to the
workforce in an organization is related to the levels success that are gained (Arnold et al.
2015).
The analysis will be based on the ways by which the rewards are able to provide
support to the organization based on attraction and retention of staff. The effective mix of
different types of rewards and the role played by the managers in this case is considered to be
an important factor that will be studied in the report in detail based on the findings that have
been gained in research. The organization that has been taken into consideration for this
analysis is Park Hyatt Sydney.
Background of the organization
Hyatt has been able to develop its position as one of the topmost hospitality based
organizations in the world. Park Hyatt Sydney is a major part of the Hyatt Group that has its
operations in Australia. The organization has been able to maintain its successful operations
in different parts of the world with the help of its high class services and effective employee
base (ParkHyattSydney.com.au 2019). The workplace environment that has been developed
by the organization has been able to play a major role in the ways by which Hyatt has
maintained its services and operations in different countries. Park Hyatt Sydney is also
known in the industry for the hospitality based services that are offered by the organization
