INTRODUCTION
COVID-19 has direct affects upon the business functionalities of hospitality firms to
prevail into hospitality industry. Additionally, they faced various challenges due to
implications of COVID-19 as governments have imposed numerous restrictions for
protecting individuals. For this, the chosen company is Windermere boutique hotel
which is known to be the leading luxury hotel that is located among Windermere and
Bowness within Heart of Beautiful English Lake District in Cumbria. The aim of this
poster is to determine the challenges faced by hospitality industry due to the
implication of COVID-19 pandemic in their business functionalities. The points that is
covered in this poster are project proposal summary, formation of Gantt Chart and tools
and techniques for evaluating projects.
Tools and techniques for evaluating projects
There are various tools and techniques that are applied for evaluating project and are
provided below:
Data collection: This is essentially the method which would be applied by
investigator to accumulate effective and reliable information for particular topic.
Additionally, this aids researcher for gaining in depth information regarding opted
topic which in future drives towards formation of valid conclusion
Research instrument: This is essentially the techniques and tools which are applied
through investigator to gather data. Moreover, this is vital for investigator to utilize
the effective method as this has direct relationship with attainment of goals. the
current study is depends upon primary information as well as for gathering it, there
are several sources which may be applied are focus group, questionnaires and
others.

Through accomplishing the project proposal, this has been summarised that
COVID-19 has key implications upon its business functionalities. Moreover,
this is ascertained that various hospitality firms have stopped their operations
as they are not become competent for bearing expenditures. Additionally, there
are other challenges faced through hospitality firms because of COVID-19.

Gantt chart is also considered to be the bar chart that represents the research tasks along
with the time frame needed for accomplishing it. Additionally, this incorporates initial
