This dissertation investigates the contemporary HR practices for enhancing employee retention and engagement. It discusses how HR practices enable businesses to retain their potential employees and develop an understanding of contemporary HRM practices. The study follows a qualitative research approach and secondary data collection method. The desired outcome is to identify an intervention that helps in employee retention for the business.

To investigate the contemporary Human resource practices for enhancing employee retention and
engagement. Outline Proposed project will emphasis HR practices related to employee engagement
and retention.. For this purpose, literature sources will be used to collect the data. The analysis will
be based on themes.

Project will discuss the issue regarding employee turnover, as how implementation of
human resource practices enable business to retain their potential employees. It is
important topic which helps the business sector to invest on their employees for the
productivity of industry, and it is also beneficial for the peer colleagues and researcher
who are conducting their research study in this field. Project objectives are to develop
understanding about contemporary HRM practices and how it helps in employee
retention and talent management HRM strategy for staff performance optimisation.
Project also lay out the literature review in which it includes the authors different
argument over the topic.

Study will follow the qualitative research study and follow the inductive research
approach because it consists of specific observation. It also follow the exploratory design
due to cost efficiency and interpritivism approach for data interpretation. Report will
cover the secondary data collection because of data reliability and cost or time
efficiency. Secondary data is efficient in providing data in no time also with this analyst
will be able to cover the wide range of information. For ethical concern consent form will
be provided to participants and list of references will also provide at the end.

Rationale for selecting this study is to understand how HR practices allows the
businesses to accomplish their goals by engaging their employees with their resources.
In this study secondary data will be collected from the existing sources in order to
arrange the study information. With this businesses are able to apply the human
resources strategy to retain their employees.
