Question 1: Rate of Development in the path of the restriction of the self-esteem either in a
positive or a negative manner.
Answer: In my entire lifetime, there have been various instances when the desire of
development hindered my path of sustaining the self-esteem levels. However, the mechanism
underlying with this association still remains unknown as long as the adolescents with lower
levels of self-esteem will remain vulnerable to the very progressive symptoms of
development. One of the main hindrance in the path of development is depression and
emotional turbulence.
Often with the ever ending urge to develop and grow, I have suffered from severe depression
and mental turbulence. It has definitely affected my self-esteem and the way how I visualize
myself. This is the negative effect of development on self-esteem., however the positive
effect is that the urge of developing myself has given me the opportunity every time to
redefine myself and rediscover my capabilities and the priorities of life. The process of self-
analysis can be a very big factor why the self-esteem levels tends to reduce in the early
adolescent period and it rises in the later adolescent period.
Question 2: The way in which my culture has been a restricting factor in my path of
development.
Answer: The role of culture is very significant on the path of development of any individual.
The cultural code of conducts of an individual often facilitates the process of the individual
struggle for development. However, it has a negative aspect also. Often the cultural norms
binds the individual liberty and restricts him from expressing oneself through their different
activities. The most negative affect of culture is the concept of discrimination. The cultural
values often lead to discrimination among the different individuals on the basis of their
cultural values. The aspect of culture or the different religious norms often block the path of

the role of women, which is the main reason why more than half of the population are
deprived of the basic education and sociopolitical rights that contributes to their overall
development. Certain cultural norms also believes in that women should be restricted from
the workplaces which has hampers the dignity of women of a nation and of course reduces
the earning potential of an economy as a whole.
Question 3: Traits, characteristics and capabilities that I have inherited.
Answer: I have inherited certain traits and characteristics right from my childhood. One
common trait that I have inherited is that of conscientiousness that was useful to determine
the level of my work ethics. As a result of this characteristic trait I have been always very
conscious about the work ethics along with my productivity levels in work. The trait of
neuroticism has restricted my growth and development in certain aspects. The trait of
neuroticism refers to the level of anxiety or shame that is felt by me in every activities of life.
Before taking any decision or performing any act, I have faced high anxiety levels or a sense
of hesitation or fear within me. These hereditary traits have also resulted in the sense of
vulnerability or stress and certain leadership problems in my path of development.
Question: 4: The traits that make me unique.
The traits that make me unique are perseverance, consistency and emotions. The consistency
trait of perseverance has always helped me to cling with the desires made by me in my
lifetime. In spite of certain challenges and hurdles that has come on my way, I have always
learnt to resume with my struggles and hard work in order to achieve my desired goals. The
trait of consistency refers to the continuous efforts to accomplish my desires in spite of
certain breaks and challenges in the path of the accomplishment of the desired work. The
third trait which I feel has definitely made me unique are the presence of emotions in all
aspect of my work.
