INTRODUCTIONHuman resource department is very much important as it hires and selects thoseemployees which are capable enough of accomplishing their allocated work. But for attainingefficiency in their work, they need quality training. The enclosed report deals with theusefulness and importance of training and development in the Tesco Company which isleader in the grocery and general merchandise retail sector. It effectively accomplishes itsgoals with the quality training provided and imparted to their newly hired employees whichincreases their productivity (Date, 2015). The employees' productivity maximises whichresults in the achievement of the objectives of the firm in effectual manner. Thus, itflourishes in the market by garnering good quantum of profits and enhanced consumersatisfaction is attained by the firm in effective way.TASK 1AC 1.1 Compare different learning styles in imparting training to employees in organisationThe training department is equipped with imparting training to new employees so thatthere efficiency is maximised in a way which meets organisational goals in effective way.The various styles:1. Converging-Learners of this style uses learning to find solutions to practical problems and havingfounded the solutions to problem, they make decisions regarding their work. Learners watch the problem and then feels to solve it. They solve the problem byhaving concrete solutions from different perspectives and they are sensitive to needs andwants of the people. They work best in groups. AC 1.2 The learning curve and the importance of learning in the organisationThe learning curve shows that if employees is given the work over and over, he willperform effectively (Ford, 2014). Time required to perform the task will reduce. The curveshows the improvement of him which is required for organisation's desired goals. This curveis also known as experience curve.Importance of learning in organisation-1. Increase in efficiency-The employees when given and provided effective training will reduce the time towork in the organisation. As a result, productivity of employees will maximise too muchextent.
