INTRODUCTIONHuman resource plays a very crucial role in every business organization through whichfirm can attain its determined objective within a time period. Every firm desires effective andskilled employees so as it can improve its productivity and profitability. In the absence ofemployees, no business organization can survive its functions and activities. In order to againeffective success and growth, corporation requires to develop effective practices and policieswhich assist in improving growth and development because skilled employees can boost upfirm’s process (Panagiotakopoulos, 2013). The following report provides a depth knowledge andunderstanding about the growth and development of employees and the way through which theycan improve their performance. In addition to this, various training methods and its implicationon the employees performance has been also discussed in this report. Furthermore, the role ofgovernment in training and development and its need in the organization has been also discussed.The entire process of training and humans resource development programs has been studied withrespect of small UK HR consultancy firm which is called as People R Us. This organizationprovides training programs and event to Sun court residential homes.LO 11.1Comparision of various learning styleAs per the given case scenario, People R Us corporation is a small UK HR consultancyfirm which is bidding for a contract to be able to plan and design the training and developmentprogram for Sun court residential home limited. In order to plan the training activities fororganization, People R Us requires to understand the learning style of individuals (Sánchez, andSoriano, 2011). Learning style of person differ from one to another individual according to theirskill and ability. In a simple word it can be said that learning is an activity for enhancing skill,ability, knowledge and behavior in the individual. If a person have effective learning style then itbecome easy for them to learn something new. According to Honey and Mumford , there aremajor four type of learning style which are as follows-Activists- This kind of person can learn from the observation, analysis, thinking etc. Thisis one minded approach of learning and this style is mostly in those people who wanted

to experience something new in their life. The major objective of activist learner tomaintain the continuous changes in the thinking and performance level in thecorporation (Thompson and Kleiner, 2015). In the context of organization, managementand top authority requires to some dimensions through which they can expand the levelof responsibility within employees.Theorist- In this learning style, person can learn from the model, concepts, real facts,different theories, arguments etc. Under this style, an individual are considered as aperfectionists because they concentrates on fact, theories and models in order to takeparticular decisions.Figure 1Honey Mumford learning styleSource: Wang and Noe, 2010Pragmatist- This kind of individuals basically believes to convert their knowledge intopractical life. Employees are practical in nature and they develop new concepts withtheir own knowledge and experience.
