INTRODUCTIONEmployees are an important part in firm. Human Resource Development (HRD) isessential for company so that employees can perform efficiently and effectively. It results inaccomplishing organisational objectives. Hence, firm can increase profits and improve itsperformance in long run (Alarcon, 2011). Report discusses about the Sun Court company whichis related with health care industry. It provides various health products to customers. Projectexplains about comparison of different learning styles, role of learning curve, importance oftransferring learning in firm and contribution of styles and theories when designing a learningevent. The report discuses about training needs at different levels, benefits and limitations oftraining methods. In addition, it explains about systematic approaches for developing trainingevent and prepares an evaluation form using various techniques. Furthermore, it discusses aboutcarrying an evaluation of training event, review success of evaluation methods and the role ofgovernment in training and development. Moreover, project explains about the ways throughwhich competency movement has impacted public and private sectors and contribution oftraining initiatives to HRD in firm.TASK 11.1 Comparison between different styles of learningAt work place learning is important and it is beneficial for company as well employees.There are changes taking place in society and to make long run in industry manger has toreframe its strategies. There are employees with different mindset so it is important to knowperception and then apply learning styles. Some of the learning styles are as follows:Aural- This styles might be less impactful as compared to other styles. In this style thereis utilisation of sound to train personnel. This method is cheap as there is no huge costinvolved.Verbal- In this style theoretical aspects are taught. There is trained personnel whoprovide related knowledge to employees.Visual- This style is effective as workers learn by watching new and innovative things.According to Anderson, 2013 watching is more impactful as compared to theory things.Visual learning includes use of graphs, charts, etc.Solitary- This style says that there are some individuals which learn by staying alone.This method is costly and might be possible that individual learn more diligently.1

Social- This style is reverse of solitary style. This is beneficial for company as this helpsto provide training to individuals in group so it is cost and tine effective. This helps tocreate motivation among employees.Kinesthetic- This style says that individual must apply its learning to its operations. Thisproves fruitful as problems faced will get sorted at the same time(Armstrong and Taylor,2014).Logical- This style is beneficial for person who want logics behind every act. This stylesanswers question of why, what, how, whom, etc. This technique helps person to knowabout reason why and how change is impactful.Above discussed styles help Sun court train personnel. They must use two or differentstyles Kinesthetic, Social, Logical which proves more beneficial for company aas well asemployee. Workers learn frequently in a group. In Sun Court there are many workers so, this isbeneficial as there are, less cost as compared to other techniques. 1.2 Role of learning curve and its importance at work placeMeaning of Learning Curve-Learning curve is a graph which says that as there is increase in experience, perfectionalso increases. Hence this curve shows the relationship between experience and perfection ofindividual. This technique is beneficial as manager came to know about need of training and upto what level. This helps company to know about change in activities and operations. It isimportant that manager has to see operations performed by employees and in case of repetitionthat must be eradicated (Bakker, Albrecht and Leiter, 2011). Learning curve help person toenhance its knowledge and it is important for their personal growth. Sun Court is company which come with housing facility to old age people. But asenvironment is changing it is important to accept those modifications. Manager of Sun Courtthinks that training of employees is wastage of fund and time. It is important that company has toanalyse performance of employees and then see need and level of learning. This saves time aswell as cost of company.
