INTRODUCTIONThe human resource management is defined as the process of analysing the efficiency ofemployees and increasing the performance of whole organisation. The various functions that areincluded in HRM includes controlling, planning, selecting, giving orientation, providing trainingand development and appraising performance of employees. The main aim of HRM departmentis to motivate employees and increase the productivity of employees. In the following report, thecompany which is considered is ALDI. This is a brand started by two German family owneddiscount supermarket chains. It has around 10,000 stores in 20 countries. The owners of thiscompany are two brothers naming Karl and Theo Albrrecht and this was founded in the year1946. The headquarters of the company are in Germany and products offered by thisorganisation are beverage, food items, sanitary products and household essentials. The followingreport will describe purpose and scope of HRM. Also this will include the strength and weaknessof recruitment and selection approaches. This report consists of HRM practices and employeerelation in ALDI. TASK 1 P1 Human resource management is process for managing and handling the activities ofemployees in achieving goals and objectives of the company. The different functions involved inthe human resource department is hiring, recruiting, motivating and providing trainings toemployees for better functioning of the company (Banfield, Kay,and Royles, 2018). It isessential for the managers of ALDI to ensure that all needs and requirements of employees arefulfilled by the company. Various trainings are given to employees of ALDI for improving theirperformance and abilities. The main functions of HR management in ALDI are described below-Training and development – There are various training and development programs thatare given to the workers of ALDI. Training and development sessions are given to employees forimproving their performance and knowledge. There are different types of trainings provided toemployees which includes on the job training and off the job training. On the job training isdefined as the training which is provided to employees while working in the organisation. Themain objective of such training is to provide skills while working in the company. There arevarious ways of on the job training provided in ALDI -1
