As the HR manager it is very important to consider the right candidate for the job. As the
post is of the Junior Sales manager, it is important that a motivated and effective person is
selected for the post. The selection methods are written and verbal assessments for the candidates
and HR round. The most important thing for the Human Resource manager at this point is to
consider an Ideal candidate. This requires the creation of a profile of an ideal candidate. The
profile then needs to be set as a standard for assessing the candidates.
In regard to the technical recruitment process it becomes necessary that the right kind of
questions are asked to the concerned people. This is to ensure that the candidates have
knowledge about the position and responsibilities that comes with the job. Verbal and written
test can greatly help to assess the communication levels of the candidate. Moving forward the
interview round with the HR can be utilized to further test the personal skills. Upon successful
completion of the previous selection rounds the discussion of salary can be done. Psychometric
can be integrated within the selection process to assess the mental frame of the candidates.
