INTRODUCTION
The concept of human resource management refers to a most vita; function that is being
established in every organisation. The department is in charge of recruiting, employing, training
and retaining company's employees based on their job skills and position. The department is
responsible in providing right path or direction to its workforce in order for effective and
efficient conduct of activities that helps in achieving business goals (Fan, Huang and Timming,
2020). A manager of human resource department manages and arranges required personal as
well as methods that are essential in successful completion of set objectives backed by adequate
knowledge and training imparted to them. A manager is asked to have assurance about
organisation's success and growth through allocation of various roles and responsibilities to each
personnel within business. The concerned with various different aspect of human resource at
SKVP. The report includes different functions and purpose that are fulfilled by company's
manager in its organisation. The understanding of various selection or recruitment approaches
along with their strengths and weaknesses are mentioned here along with certain advantages and
effectiveness of human resource practices in context to employees and employers. In the
continuation to this some vital aspects that dominates SKVP's decision making power,
components of employment legislation along with some application of human resource practices
are stated.
TASK 1
Explain the purpose and the functions of HRM, applicable to workforce planning and resourcing
an organisation
The term human resource is an strategical approach to management who maintains the
organisation's effectiveness along with workforces who employs their hard work and skills in
order to achieve firms competitive lead within industry (Froidevaux, Alterman and Wang, 2020).
The major responsibility of an human resource manager is to employ, train and preserve
deserved candidates within organisation.
Functions of Human Resource Management:

There are numerous functions that a human resource management performs and fulfils in
its business that assists organisation in effective management and achievement of company's
tasks along with continuous success. The various functions of SKVP's manager is listed under: Recruitment and Selection: It is the main function of human resource department in
which a manager is required to select and hire different candidates for the company's
unoccupied position (Gadi and Kee, 2020). A manager in such case follows a sequential
procedure for staffing starting from scanning of potential candidates and completes with
finalisation of recruitment of such candidate who becomes company's workforce. The
function of human resource management helps manager of SKVP to assure effective
condition for working through maintaining adequate skills and expertise in each
employee to work with more efficiency. Therefore, HR manager is responsible to
prioritise recruitment and selection procedure in order to acquire competent personnels
for organisation. Development and Training: Providing proper development and training sessions or
classes to firm's employee's is another function that human resource manager is required
to perform (Gürlek and Uygur, 2020). The main aim behind imparting of training and
development sessions is to up-grad existing competencies of company's employees.
Providing proper knowledge and skills along with certain experience related with each
task in SKVP, human resource manager of company helps in maintaining effective
human force to act their action with full efficiencies and potential. Maintaining employees relationship: The most important asset for any company is its
human resource who devotes their hard work to achieve company's objective (He and Li,
2020). When every employee in an organisation is respected it allows SKVP's human
resource manager in maintaining employees relationship effectively among and between
each personnel that further maintains healthy and positive working environment within
such organisation.
Purpose of Human Resource Management at SKVP:
Every functional department in a business is established to fulfil some purpose and after
having a vital function of an organisation human resource department fulfils its various roles
unlike others which are mentioned below:
