INTRODUCTIONHuman resources is very crucial department in the whole organisation. This managementof the human resources design and make the plans in order to increase the performance of theemployees by motivating and encouraging them. This is mainly concern with the company'smanagement, policies, rule and regulations and organisational terms and conditions in foremostof the employees (Shuck and Wollard, 2010). They basically engage with the recruitments,selection, training and development, rewarding the workers in return of their performance manymore.This assignment is going to present all aspects of the human resources management of theALDI which is the one of the largest retailer company which is consist of more than 1000 storesin the 80 countries, in which include their decision making, activities, functions and how theydeal with the employees by providing them gratification. They usually manage their employeesand employer sin that way so through that they utilise them effectively and efficiently so on likethis they can achieve their respective organisational goals (Wang and Noe, 2010). Thismanagement of the human resources is treated like the backbone of the company. They also lookyup the employee relations and if there is any conflict they try to resolve the issue by time. TASK 1P1 Purpose and function of HRM, applicable to workforce planningHRM is one of the main process which engage with the crucial activities of the ALDIcompany such as recruitment, training and development, selection process motivate theemployers so they can timely accomplish their targets and goals. They try to recruit or hiredeserving candidate who can devote their hard work to the company along with the loyalty. Theiris another purpose it to fulfil all the needs and demands of the employees and maintain theworking environment along with the compensation which is given to the company. ALDI'smanger use many concepts which actually attract number of the customers to fulfil their needsand wants of the staff members. There are other function which is adopt by the humans resourcesmanagement of the ALDI company are as follows :- Development of human resources :- In this the human resources engage with the trainingprogrammes through which they can update their employees so they can cope up witt theexternal environment. This also increase their talent, knowledge and skills regarding the work so1

they can do that effectively and efficiently. Market is dynamic and it changes constantly so theydemands to update their employees by particular interval of time.Staffing process :– This company ALDI they required some good and deservingcandidate who are talented too (Kavanagh and Johnson, 2017). There is the basic process if thestaffing that they demand for the good deserving candidate for the right job profile for the rightwork. Initially the analyse their organisation and also look if there is any vacant seat or not.Accordingly they recruit the individual by taking their written test, interview and through manyother.Development of the work policies :- They develop some terms and condition which iscompensatory to follow by all of the employees. Through these some rules and regulations theorganisation run smoothly and fairly. There are some of the policies such as :-Dress codeDisciplinary policyTiming (working hours)Minimum wagesbenefits and compensation administration :- Human resources team also provide somecompensation to their employees at the fair level. They actually introduce the needs of theindustry broad enough so they can affect people at the working area. They should ensure that topay similar as according to their performance (Zheng, Yang and McLean, 2010). There are someof the compensation are as follows :-Bonusesrewardspayhealth and medical benefitsM1: Assess the functions of HRM to achieve business objectivesHRM have roles and responsibilities to improve performance of employees working in anorganisation through conducting training and development programs for them.
