in every single organisation. In this department of a company, HR manager is the one who takes
decisions which are related to recruiting candidates, forming policies for staff members and
developing training and development programmes so that skills and knowledge of them can get
improved as well as healthy working environment can be created (human resource management
(HRM), 2018). Main aim of this subsection in any firm is to hit targets in a systematic, effective
and efficient way. In this report, the organisation which has been taken is ASDA. It has been
analysed that this company has a strong human resource management that helps them in
achieving goals and objectives in a specific time period. By this, they are continuously grabbing
a leading position in marketplace. Apart from this, assignment is going to include functions and
purpose of HR practices, recruiting methods as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Lastly, it
is putting light on legislations of government and their effect on decision-making.
