INTRODUCTION
Human resource management are managing of all resources and people in the
organization (Bratton and Gold, 2017). It includes a process that is planning, organizing, staffing,
directing and controlling etc. Through applying of these functions company can easily satisfy the
customers. Thus they can earn more revenues and they can also increase their market share. This
helps them to easily expand and diversify the business. Project describes about the Thomson
corporation which publishes books for many organizations. It was found in 1989 in U.K.
Assignment explains about the purpose and scope of human resource management so that they
can easily accomplish the objectives. It also explains about the effectiveness of key factors of
personnel department in firm. It further describes about the internal and external factors which
can influence human resource decisions such as employment legislation. It also explains about
the application of human resources in work related context.

Various functions are performed by the organization. It is crucial so that company can
easily accomplish their objectives. Thus goals of Thomas corporation are:

workers in the firm. Thus as a result they can easily perform well and thus Thomas corporation
can earn more revenues and hence they can also increase their market share.
