INTRODUCTION Human resource management plays an essential role in an organization, their main concerns is related to employees in respect of hiring, performance, training, compensation, safety, benefits, wellness and motivation. HRM department divide their functions in major two parts such as managerial as well as operational functions (An, 2012).Through these human resource management practices company able to conduct their work in effective manner that leads to attainment of goal as well as objective properly. Organisation selected for this project is Dyson which is a private organization founded by James Dyson in year 1991. It's headquarter is situated at Singapore. Products offering of respective company are vacuum cleaners, hard dryers, desk fans, hair dryers and many more. There are approx 1200 employees working in respective company at worldwide level. Topics which are included in this report are purpose as well as functions of HRM and strength and weaknesses of recruitment and selection process. Along with this, respective project will include benefits and effectiveness of HRM practices, importance of employee relation, key elements of employees legislation and it will also include applications of HRM practices. TASK 1 P1. Purpose and function of HRM. By adopting this Dyson able to conduct various activities such as hiring, training, motivating, monitoring and so on. Along with this, its HRM conduct various function and it is also effective for respective company, some of the major purpose and function are given below:- Purpose of HRM:-Staffing:In a firm main purpose of HRM department is to hire candidates according to their requirement and vacant position(Larson and Gray, 2017).
