INTRODUCTIONHuman Resource Management is defined as a process of hiring and selecting employees as pertheir skills so that they become more valuable for the organisation. It is a practice of recruiting,developing as well as managing the persons working in a company. This includes conducting jobanalysis and planning personnel needs for the user. It ensures that right people are appointed foraccurate jobs based on their ability. It is required to maximize the productivity and performance of an organisation byrecruiting efficient employees. The primary objective is concerned with taking out best workfrom an individual by staff training. HRM ensures that employees are motivated which willprovide the company with effective output. This department is present in every company whetherit's large or small. The organisation which is selected is Dyson. It is a private companyestablished in UK. The company was founded on 8 July, 1991, 27 years ago by James Dyson. TASK 1P1 Functions and purpose of HRM and application of workforce planningThe major asset for company is it's employee as they work together with a commonobjective for welfare of an organisation. Human resource management department ensures thatefficient employees are appointed which carry an understanding of products they will be workingon. It is a recruitment and selection process that occur in a company (Jones, 2014). Purpose of Human Resource Management: The purpose of HRM is to maximise acompany's performance by selecting right people for the job. Those who have proper skill, talentas well as knowledge in the field. It includes employee compensation, training, selection etc.Dyson has a variety of products for which it needs well efficient staff hired by it's HR team.Listed below is the understanding & purpose of HR management in making of Dyson's products.Internal customer management: For a company to grow, it requires good quality staffthat can work effectively. The employees must have a good knowledge of the products as theyare the one who will present them in front of customers. In relation to human resourcemanagement, Dyson select best candidates who can work productively and train them with actualgoods so that they get familiar with the concept and stabilize their position.1
