INTRODUCTION Human Resource Management is a strategic approach of managing the employees or theindividuals within the organisation, through proper recruiting and selection of the employees aswell as to provide them with necessary trainings which enables them to work more effectively.It leads to proper attainment of the organisational goals and objectives. In context to this it helpsin maintaining proper environment at the work place (Noe and et.al., 2017). This leads inenhancing organisational productivity and profitability in the organisation. This project isdivided into two parts such as in part first, chosen organisation is Chocolate Presence which is abig and a rapidly expanding organisation based in North Yorkshire. It provides variouscustomised chocolate based greeting cards to the customers and has a good presence all over UK.This part will discuss about the purpose and the scope of recruitment and selection. It will alsoanalyse the recruitment and selection methods adopted by the company. In part two the casestudy is all about Microsoft which is an American Multinational company headquartered inWashington. It develops, manufactures and sells computer software, consumer electronicsrelated services. This part will discuss about the employee development and performance and thevarious factors related to it, that influences the HR Decision making. Chocolate Presence is a big and rapidly expanding organisation which providescustomised chocolates to the customer . This company encompasses a small team of employeeswho offers specialist gift orders to the customers. Therefore it has a been recognised that there ishigher employee turnover within the organization, this requires respective company to properlyperforms its HR function and activities so as enable employees to work in a efficient problemand leads to increase productivity within the organisation (Armstrong and Taylor, 2014). Human Resource Management is the the effective process of managing and developingemployees within the organisation. It is the systematic way of proper recruitment, selection andoffering training facilities to the customers so as to enhance their skills and capabilities and1
