INTRODUCTIONHuman resource management plays essential role in order to managing the all resource ofbusiness enterprise. They work as to maximise the performance of employees with the help ofstrategic objectives. The HRM is the function which mainly focuses on recruitment, managementand providing the direction to people so that they can able to perform their firm activities inefficient manner. They also work as to provide knowledge, training, administrative service, sothat rest of business enterprise able to carry the process of business in effective and efficientmanner (Van Wingerden, Derks and Bakker, 2017). The present report is focussing over the activities of Aldi. This is the global leading retailsector of UK. They are distributing their services in grocery items. This firm has captured themaximum market share. The main aim of human resource management is to have effective andefficient process of business activities so that they can able to carry business function insystematic manner. In addition to it, present report has covered following activities like purpose,benefits, roles and responsibilities of HRM. Furthermore, process of recruitment and selection isalso included in order to have effective functioning of business enterprise. TASK 1P1 Description on purpose and function of human resource management.The human resource managers are considering as important tool in business enterprise.They works as tonic and should perform activities in coordinated manner. The manpower ofemployees needs to perform those business function with the help of which they are able toachieve desire success. The purpose of human resource management is to have increment in performance of employeesto the highest level and as corresponding to the role in organisation. HRM is all about acquiringservices of people, developing skills, motivating them at foremost level. Thus, human resourcemanager should perform their role as to maintain commitment towards enterprise. In order to fullfill the organisation objective the function of human resources manager and their purpose need tobe effective and efficient such as are-Maintaining good working conditions- It is responsibility of manager of Aldi's toprovide good working condition to employee's. Managing employee relations- In this, employees should be treated as pillars of anyenterprise. It is wide concept and one of crucial function of human resource management.The HR should take initiatives and works as to foster good employee relationships. Inthis, they must perform as to influence behaviour and work outputs. In addition to it,Aldi's take initiatives to promotes health and balanced relationship between employeeand employer. The function has been discussed in following context as are- Operative function- There are various kind of operative function which is need to beperformed by manager. They need to perform the business function such are asrecruitment, selection and various other things which are helpful in managing all things ineffective and efficient manner. The development included those function which arehelpful in order to have development in overall business activities of enterprise. Advisory function- In order to manage the activities of Aldi it is very essential to givethe proper advise so that they can perform business activities in effective and efficientmanner. With the help of proper formulation of business activities they are able to carrythe business function in expertise manner.Orientation- It is one of fundamental step that works as to adjust employees withemployees in terms to conduct job effectively.
