Introduction
The practice including the stages of starting planning, establishing, monitoring and
ending work allotted to a team for the purpose of accomplishing certain objectives and goals
under specified criteria is known as project management (Philpott and Owen 2016). The
emphasis of project management tends to focus the concentration on two areas, Project
Management Professional certification and the experience regarding the management of
million-dollar ventures. The most challenging and significant area of focus should be
managing human touch in the project management process (Merrow and Nandurdikar 2018).

inclusion of skills of Project Manager. Through the understanding of the human side of the
projects, organisations will be able to develop human touch with respect to the process of
project management, which will help in ensuring efficiency and effective management. The
purpose of the paper is to develop an understanding regarding the human side of the projects
in organisations by deducing the existing literature on the topic of stakeholder management.
The paper will present the literature review based on the extracted questions from the topic.
The paper will be concluded by summarising the scope and findings of the discussion.

advanced tools and human side of organisation. The main aim of the project is to minimise
the ignorance towards investing monetary and non-monetary resources towards stakeholder
management. The three research questions in the task aim at developing an exhaustive
discussion regarding the role of stakeholder management in project management. The first

including the theories of stakeholder management, the skills and competencies of a project
manager and the process of teaming. The second research questions aim at depicting the
importance of stakeholder management in the project so that the stress and investment can be
strategically categorised between the advanced tools and people. The third research question
aims at the construction of recommendations or criteria for improving the recognition of
stakeholder management in the project.
Literature review
Stakeholder management in project management
Project management is considered to be the art of natural expression with the
connection of flexibility, creativity and intuitiveness. The functions of project management
are executed efficiently by project managers through the development of innovative
