Introduction
Globex is leading a project to develop a new online cash marketplace platform for easier management of the
warehoused crops. Globex had been a long standing client of Virtucon and therefore has given the
responsibility of the project to Virtucon. Globex was founded in the year 2013 after merging of two regional
businesses. The application will support an easy interface so that it becomes easier for the sellers and the
buyers to use the application. The report identifies the team structure associated with the project along with
the aims and objectives of the team members. The detailed project overview and specifications are discussed
in the following section.

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW –
The project aims in development of an entirely new system without replacing any old system. The i-Crop
application will provide and easy way of managing the export as well as domestic opportunities. The
application will further incorporate solutions to manage the different transaction issues if iit arises.
2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES –
Virtucon will develop the application in house and according to the requirements of the clients it will be
developed in an inexpensive manner. The objectives of the project are as follows-
The application will be coded in such a manner that the growers will be able to set price of the frains
and the buyers can bid for the same
Growers will be able to maintain a preferred list of buyers
The application will provide an easy process of managing warehoused grains.

It is expected that the team will be able to complete the task within a scheduled time and by meeting all the
criteria that is set by the clients.

This project has helped me in gaining knowledge about the different project management practices that helps
in successful execution of a project. I have understood the importance and role of efficient communication
within the project. Furthermore, it is essential to abide by the code of ethics and code of professional conduct
while execution of a project.
Conclusion:
The report gives an idea of the team plans towards the execution of the project. The report identifies the aims
