ABSTRACTThe present dissertation investigates and describe influence of employee empowerment toenhance job satisfaction The Penisula Hotels. Hence, survey examine factors that impact onemployee empowerment. The research is based on 4 objectives that is concept of employeeempowerment in hospitality industry, aspects that increase job satisfaction in The PenisulaHotels interrelation of employee empowerment to increase job fulfilment in The Penisula Hotelsand significant outcomes from employee empowerment. The study outlined that hierarchical ofneeds is commonly used model to improve job satisfaction. The research derived the need andimplication of models like Equity theory, Maslow's need of hierarchyto manage satisfaction. Incontrast, study identified about employee empowerment which is attained by firm by involvingemployees in decision making. The methodology of research comprises interpretivism researchphilosophy, inductive approach, primary and secondary data collection and ethical considerationwhich depicts reliability and viability of collected and analysed information. Thus, in accordancewith analysis the summarized that employee empowerment in hotel can be achieved by involvingpeople in decision making, managing job satisfaction, understanding employees concerns andpromoting coordination and cooperation.

Technologies, products and processeseffortlessly copied with the more strategic resource of The Penisula Hotels. New method ofmanagement is determining as an employee empowerment so that several people can engage forwork processes and processes successfully develop with quality of work. However, if people arenot capable in integral part of the organisation process is successfully developed to focus onleading in effective manner (Lee, Back and Chan, 2015). In addition to this, it can be stated that when employees are empowered, their confidencelevel and self-sufficiency increases that assists to perform good things that create moresatisfaction at workplace. It develops high levels of productivity so that confidence level will betaken so far to reduce difficulty. Direction also given that assists to regulate significantadvantages at workplace. In the work environment, productivity level will be increases thatassists to focus on more effective working at workplace of research. The Peninsula Hotels is a brand of luxury hotels ran by Hongkong & Shanghai Hotels. Thefirst hotel opened in 1928 and now positions as the oldest in Hong Kong. The company isfocused on empowering employee for which the organisation has a set of core values accordingto which management treat theiremployees equally and motivate them to be open-minded,empowerpeople, genuinely allow different perspectives, earn respect via leadership.Apart from this, firm manage job satisfaction by focusing on two factors of motivation that ismotivation and hygiene. In accordance with this focus of firm is on ensuring meeting workplaceneeds of employees like monetary and non-monetary. On the other hand, company atmaintaining health and safety of workers for which Hotel group comprise with various1
employment regulations like Equality Act, Human Rights Act, Occupational health and safety,Employment contract Act. Rationale of the studyResearcher has found that many managers does not recognise real importance foremployee empowerment and its influence on job satisfaction. As a result, it reduces authority ofmanagers to perform several functions at workplace. it can be specified that organisation andmanagers both need to understand formulating actual research issue and problem. Therefore,present study assists to focus on maintain relationship with different aspects of functions andoperations that increase more significant results at workplace (McPhail, Patiar and Davidson,2015).
