Title:To identify the positive impacts of globalisation on different business functions withinan organisation. A case study of ALDI. INTRODUCTIONGlobalisation is the process through which business or other enterprises deals in othernation at international level. There is difference in working style of association at local andinternational level. In globalisation, there is coordination and collaboration with national andinternational political parties. There is difference in demand, so it is essential to performoperations according to international trade policies. There is difference in social, culture andreligious factor as per difference in geographical culture. Hence to make good brand image atinternational level, manager has analyse it and then market product and services (Adam, 2012).This report is based on ALDI which is discount super market chain. This organisation has around10000 stores in approximately 20 countries. It has headquarter in Germany. This report coversproject aims, objectives, project management plan, work breakdown structure and Gantt Chart,quantitative and qualitative research methods, data interpretation and last conclusion andrecommendations.TASK 1P1 Project aims and objectivesGlobalisation is the act which assist in performing operations at international level. Thereare some changes which has to be accepted by managers of ALDI to make long termsustainability at international level. There are many changes which has to be done by managersof organisation in order to expand business at international level. Managers has to motivateemployees to give best through which brand image of association can be maintained.Globalisation of business can be done in appropriate manner through use of different strategies.Globalisation is beneficial for organisation's growth and development through increment incustomer base and revenues (Adzic, 2011). In globalisation, there is use of more resources which are collected with different sourcesas per demand. Business can expand at international level with involvement of parties such aslegal practitioner, political parties of home and host nation. Globalisation of business involvescross boundary trade, migration among different countries, enhancing knowledge about1

international brand, maintaining foreign currency reserve, etc. are result of globalisation ofbusiness. This is not beneficial for ALDI but also beneficial for national growth anddevelopment. Background of ProjectIn this project, there is discussion about concept of globalisation, which is relevant forexpanding business at international level. As there are many employees working in ALDI, soexpansion of business can be done in effective way when they have knowledge related to it. Withglobalisation, there is promotion of cultural values, international cooperation and assist nation toachieve economic interdependency (Ariely, 2012). In context of association, employees aresatisfied that they are working at global level, so labour turnover and absenteeism is less. This isbeneficial for growth and development of ALDI. There are many departments such as finance,accounts, HR, operations, etc. in ALDI hence it is essential and relevant to make changes inworking style to get good and long term sustainability in industry. In this plan different components are covered, they are as under-Scope- Scope of globalisation is wide because it assist in expansion of business atinternational level. Hence there is impact on sales as well as profits. There is requirement ofproper planning, leadership, direction to employees. This helps workforce to perform activities inrelevant manner. Scope of this project to achieve aims and objectives within specified time andcost (Byram and Parmenter, 2012). Resources- While performing this research, there is requirement of proper planningregarding resources. Resources involves for globalisation of business is legal practitioner,employees, etc. In conducting this research, there is requirement of employees, IT system,internet connection, technician, etc. Hence with these it is easy to perform operations accordingto set targets. Cost- Cost is one of the crucial factor which is required for enhancing business atinternational level. In order to expand business at globalise level, there are some cost which isincurred. This involves: installation cost, rental expense, licensing fees, etc. So all the cost has tobe planned by manager and then business operations has to be done within specific budget(Intriligator, 2017). Quality- ALDI can expand business at international level with maintaining quality fproduct and services. At international level, there are many organisations which compete witheach other, to make long term existence in international market, it is relevant and crucial to givebest quality product and services (Coker, 2014). ALDI has many product and services such asclothes, eatables, hence hen customer are satisfied with quality, then they are ready to purchase.This maintenance long term relations with them. In performing this research, quality ofcollecting data and other related activities must be up to mark. This assist in achieving aims andobjectives of project. Communication- While operating at international level, there is requirement of propercommunication channel which are relevant and crucial for performing operations in synchronisemanner. As there is different in demand of customers at UK and in Asian countries, so managersof ALDI has to plan appropriate measure to communicate with each other. In this research,researcher uses business phones, conferences, e- mail to share data with one another. This helpsto communicate with each other and transfer data. Risks- There is risk of change in consumer preferences, economic instability, etc. whichis important and significant for performing operation (Mak, Lumbers and Eves, 2012). Atinternational level, there are many risk which affects business operations in negative mannersuch as improper prediction, change in trend, etc. While performing this project, there is risk ofmisplacing of data, hacking of sources, etc. Hence proper measures has to planned by researcher.P3 Work breakdown structure and a Gantt chart to provide time frames and stagesWork break down structure4
