Therefore through this the firmcan select suitable strategy that can increase the sales and profitability to a greater extent. Background of the studyThe role of training and development is considered effective practice that act as an aid forthe manager of the business in bringing improvement in the employee's skills to a significantlevel. There is presence of huge requirement for training and development of the personnel as ithelps in increasing their performance in relation with the job. Through providing facilitiesrelating with training employees can perform in best manner. This leads to attainment of thetargets of firm with effectiveness (Gretzel, Christuo and Sigala, 2012). There is effective role oftraining and development in delegation of several type of job to the personnel. The trained andqualified personnel demonstrates appropriate behavior in front of customers that increases theirlevel of satisfaction. Rationale of the studyThe major issue that is attached with proposed investigation is associated withenhancement in employee retention. This leads to enhancement in the significance of trainingand development for the firms. By the means of enhancement within competition there isincrease in importance for beauty salon to provide quality services to the customers. Such can beprovided in case it has team of employees who have greater experience and possess skills andknowledge in relation to performance of job (Colliander and Dahlen, 2011).
