DISSERTATION

ABSTRACT
Dissertation is mainly conducted to get the detailed study of the research topic. In this
various methods are used to gather informations and also findings are to be interpreted to analyse
the reviews of the employees and managers to whom the details are gather. Thus, in this
dissertation report, researcher select the topic which is relevant to globalisation and its matters
related to technological advancement. Thus, in this report, topic is selected on the bases of
identifying the various contribution which is used in context of technology advancement to
determine the factors relating to global level. Globalisation is the process through which it
provides facilities to the companies to expand their business globally and also free transportation
are to be given so that companies can easily transfer their goods and services to other countries.
Thus, in global world technology is the major aspects which connect many country by adapting
the best possible way to interact with other country. Technology connects many people and
countries and also helps companies to interact with people through their innovative ideas.
Due to changes in time technology are to be amended and also the innovation are to be
committed by organisation if they are planning to expand their business operations in global
market. This research is mainly based on apple company which is the top most multinational
technology based company which was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald
Wayne in 1976. Due to having the strong brand image in market various competitors arise
regarding the innovative products and services. The objectives of this topic is relating to
identifying various trends in technological globalization and also the benefits of technological
globalization in multinational organization. It also results in adapting the challenges & problems
imposed by the technological advancement to multinational corporation in particular and to
global economy. The main reason of choosing this topic is that it provides detailed study about
the technological globalisation and its awareness which is used by apple company to enter into
global market.
The limitation which is faced in completing this dissertation is resulting in collecting data
and information relevant to that topic. Thus, by choosing the literature reviews methods, it
reflects the reviews of various authors regarding the selected topic which mainly present this
research in systematic manner. Different theme are discussed and also various authors had shared
their reviews regarding the selected theme, thus it helps in gathering more relevant details of the
technological advancement at global level. In the matters related to research methods various

methods are to be used by researcher to gather information relevant to the topic. Thus, qualitative
methods is used to raise questionnaire to gather information from managers of the apple
company. Thus, 25 managers of the company are selected to raised queries regarding the
company working. After raising queries and getting reviews interpretation is conducted to
examine various facts and figure relevant to the data. After conducting all the procedure,
conclusion and recommendation is to be given which is helpful to the apple company to use
appropriate methods to overcome from the challenges raised.

advancement and also it enhances the lively hood of person by giving more profits if the
technology are to be used in right way (McCann, 2016). Thus, in global world technology is the
only aspects which connect more country by adapting the best possible way to interact with other
country. Technology connects many people and also company can connect the people through
their innovative products and services. This helps them to expand their business into large scale
and also promote their services in international market. The main advantages of choosing the
globalisation is that it provides free transportation facility and also less barriers in case of import
and export of goods and services in different countries.
Technology also to be amended due to changes in time and also the innovation are to be
committed by organisation if they expand their business activities in global market. Thus,
technology is the machine and tool which is also mainly used to solve the issue which is faced by

Apple company usually design such products according to the needs and demands of the

global market. The importance behind the technology aspects is that it provides opportunities to
company to promote their business online and also interact with other companies to expand their
business in international level. Thus, by choosing this topic the main barriers at the time of
collecting the data are resulting in gathering information and data from restricted areas. As it
results in consuming more timing and also the data to be collected accurately. As by the

raised by participants regarding the selected topic it helps Apple company to take effective action

and decisions. By choosing the qualitative methods, it provides the opportunity to researcher to
conduct the in depth research. Thus, to choose the best methods and strategies which is useful for
both company and researcher to carry forward their research work.
Research approach: This is the most important methods which is chosen by researcher to
gather the malformation. It mainly includes the plans and procedure which is used by the
researcher to examine the research topic in better way (Behrendt, Prill and Patsch, 2018). In
these methods proper planning is to be committed to gather information as it requires every
single steps such as to collect data various resources are to be needed to gather information.
Thus, it includes two types of approaches such as inductive approaches and deductive
approaches. Inductive approaches is mainly chosen by the researcher when they are choosing the

in Research philosophies is mainly used to interpret the data which is adapted by choosing the
questionnaire methods and the judgement given by participants regarding the questions raised.
By this method it helps to conduct the in depth research regarding the issue which is faced by
employees at the time of grabbing the new methods in technology. This method is also beneficial
in case of the benefits which is to be raised by choosing the technology to reach at global level.
Data collection: This is an effective tool which helps in collecting useful information on
the particular area of study. It helps in collecting valid and reliable data from valid sources to
carry out the particular research. Thus, data collection is the methods which is used to gather the
information which is useful in conducting the valid research. It can be classified into primary and
secondary source of data collection. Primary source is the data which is collected for the very
first time by the researcher (Lyall, 2017). The sources through which primary data can be
collected are survey, polls, questionnaire, observation, investigation, experimentation, etc.

Sampling: This method is mainly used by researcher to identify the facts and figure when
there are large number of population. This method is useful in case of examining the matter
which is collected through statistical data and also the research is to be conducted on the bases of
available population to get the more accurate results (Rowley, 2017). In case of apple company,
the matter related to technological aspects in globalisation had important aspects thus sampling is
the best procedure which is to be initiated by the researcher to gather information. Sampling is
mainly divided into two parts such as probabilistic and non probabilistic methods. In non
probabilistic methods simple random sampling methods is used by researcher to gather
information from the available managers to get the authentic information which is useful in
taking effective decision.

question regarding the strategies used by company in expanding their business through
innovative technology, they share their reviews and commitment which they face in global
market (Gubrium and Harper, 2016). The main reason of choosing the random sampling method
by researcher is that they can make the research authentic by getting involvement of maximum
person in the research work. By the involvement of large number of employees, they get the
accurate answers of the question which they raised to examine the facts and figure in grabbing
the technology to bring changes in company working.
Data Analysis: This method is used by the researcher to inspect, analyse and transform
the data so that useful information is to be collected. By choosing these methods there are more
chances to get the appropriate results (Boddewyn, 2016). As data is to be analysed by using
appropriate technique and methods which is to be assemble to interpret the data in effective way.

There are two ways through which data can be analysed, it can be thematic methods and SPSS
methods. By viewing the research work, researcher had adapted the thematic methods to carry
their research work and also by preparing the research through thematic method, it looks more
presentable and impressive to take decisions. Thus, by choosing the format through theme it is to
be used with more precisely and also to be interpreted so that data is to be clearly understand.

selecting the topic which is resulting in facing time boundation issue, as time is needed to gather
information. It is also required to gather data from such area where the strict restriction are

not so comfortable to give judgement on any question, thus it results in bringing lot of
consequences in determining their interest. Usually the major issue is faced at the time of taking
consent from company regarding disclosing their working style. As the company is not agreed
with the matter regarding disclosing their strategies and techniques which they are working in
relation to achieving targets.
Ethical consideration: The researcher of this study will carry out the study from ethical
sources and citing the information. The data was collected respecting all intellectual property

right and there was no infringement of law while carrying out the particular research project. All
the resources such as financial, human and natural resources were utilized properly. In this
various ethical norms are to be maintained by researcher at the time of conducting the research
activity (Giachetti, 2016). Thus, ethics are usually implemented on the research so that they can
distinguish such data and information into right and wrong aspects. As ethics are to be
maintained in respect of collecting the data and information from the managers and employees of
the company. As the researcher not had to raise such queries which affecting the rights and
dignity of the employees and company. They had to maintain certain ethical norms at the time of
collecting information from such places which are restricted by the government.
In the matter related to ethics which the researcher had to maintained at the time of
collecting the consent form from the employees and managers. In this form, they had collected
the sign of every employee and managers from which the information are to be collected. So that
while disclosing the information in their research work, they are familiar with the ideas and

the qualitative research. The reliability methods is mainly adapted by researcher as the same
results are to be examined every time and also it produces the consistent and stable results. These
methods are usually implemented by the researcher to measures the same object from a hundred
times and getting the same results. This is helpful in bringing changes in the existence results and
also helps companies to take effective decisions (Zajda, 2015). Validity methods is usually
applied in research in respect of measuring the data and information to take the research valid

problems or not getting appropriate reviews from the queries raised. Thus, to overcome from
such challenges, Apple company appoint the skilled person to handle the innovative technology
ideas and customers queries in better way.

protecting the data of the company from high security. As this is the major challenges which the
apple company is facing in respect of expanding the business into different countries. By the
process of expanding business, they are sharing the important detail of their workings and also
