INTRODUCTION
Human Resource development plays a major role in success of a business organisation. It
is essential to manage the employees that are working in the organisation and providing them
proper environment. By managing people a company is able to enhance the performance and
achieve goals and objectives (Lee and Lee, 2018). This report is based on Human resource
development in SunTech. It is a start-up company that works to provide computer servers to
medium
and large corporates. The company focuses on technical skills of the employees and superiors
now they want to enhance the soft skills of the employees. In this report there is discussion
related to importance of human resource development in a business organisation. There are
certain challenges that are being faced by company so they are also mentioned. In the end of
report the solution are given with proper implementation plan.
MAIN BODY
Explain the importance of HRD for the organisation
Human resource development can be defined as the process of enhancing the skills and
competencies of the employees so that they are able to achieve success. It is people oriented
process and the task to provide education and training to the employees for their overall
development (Quinn, 2018). Human resource development plays a major role in all the business
organisation. The following are the points of importance in regard to SunTech:
Understand the employees: The human resource development provides opportunity to
understand the employees. The company is able to know more about the needs and wants of
employees and even help to provide them better solutions. SunTech will also be able to know
about the employees and help them at each and every level that will help to enhance the
productivity of the company.
Provide better training: There are different needs of the employees. By having a
professional SunTech will be able to know about the training needs of the employees. The
technical skills of the employees are important and at the same time, there is need of providing
them education relate to same. The company must also analyse that the communication skills,
leadership skills, problem solving skills, etc. also play a major role (Kreismann and Talaulicar,
2021). SunTech will be able to know about those skills as well.
