2. As outlined by Baumeister and Bushman (2011, p. 130) pursuing goals involves at least 2
major steps. Consider these two steps with your goal in mind, and complete the table below:

The goal that I have chosen to pursue is to improve my decision making skill. I feel that this is
one of the most important skills that I will be requiring in the long run. This is because there are
emergencies in each and every business scenario. These emergencies have to be dealt with by
taking immediate actions. I have to gain more confidences that I can take apt decisions and
most importantly the right decision to cope up with these uncertain situations. However, I have
seen that I become much tensed and afraid while taking any important decision. I feel very
restless and cannot really take a strong stand fearing the after effects.
