Current method of data collections, formatting, storage and
dissemination are as follows:
• Survey methods
Personal interview
Telephone interview
Mail survey

Data of various stakeholders are
stored in the Costa Coffee UK by
the following methods:
•Database programs
•Spreadsheet programs
•Statistical programs

Appropriate changes to improve the identified methods:
The current methods that are used by the Costa Coffee is
effective but some of the limitation can be improved as
follows:
Survey methods, this can be improved by collecting only
relevant data and the deleting the previous one when they are
not in use. This will limited the over storage of data.
Observations are not correct at many times, so it is very
important to avoid using as a methods of data collection at the
coffee house, as many types of misunderstanding can be
observed.

• Panel methods, the real and valuable
customer’s, dealer’s and supplier's data
should be stored for a long time and the
other can be removed from the list.
• Proper Database and spreadsheets programs
are develop at the Costa Coffee by taking the
support of various experts and specialists.
