The report has concluded that participative and transformational working styles of
management are used by CEO of British American Tobacco, where company operations have been
widely heading with smart operational goals and new innovation parameters. It could be also
concluded that there are new working efficiency goals developed by leaders through brainstorming
sessions and also to accelerate growth, leaders uses transformational leadership and laissez-faire
theories. The study has also concluded motivational theories and impact of power, influence and
conflict at workplace which develops new working excellence, within longer run for keeping up
with high innovation standards. Study has been also concluding that there is keen growth goals
evaluated on new determinants, where leader is widely focusing on innovation standards and
communicating vision onto wider domains which will exercise higher profits in future (Selvarajah,
On the basis of above analysis and discussion, it can be stated that there are few changes
that can be made by British American Tobacco to increase its overall performance and brand image
in minds of customer’s. Such as:
·Management needs to changes its styles as per situations and circumstances in order to retained
satisfaction level of employees and deliver qualitative services to customers. Coaching and
persuasing are some other management style that could be used by manager of BAT in order to
infleunced employees to complete their task in best possible manner.
·Manager of BAT by making modification in its organisational structure can easily coordinate and
cooperate diverse employees to work for common goals. It needs to clearly specify particular task
that would be performed by specific individual so that there is no confusion.
·Several measurement needs to be taken to improve organisation work culture such as proper
