INTRODUCTION
Management and leadership style of individual person changes within business organisation
and that is based on various principles which are adopted by board and handled by chief
executive officer of company. This report is carried upon CEO of British American tobacco
which is considered as an international tobacco brand and sold around 200 markets and herein
there are approx 57000 employees perform their work around the globe. There is an assessment
which is also covered for increasing performance level in future period of time. Furthermore,
there is an analysis of power, conflicts as well as influence is defined in an appropriate manner
(Ahva, 2017).
Analysis the administration style and state the principle and functions of administration adopted
by CEO of BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO?
Jack Bowles is determined as a CEO in the year of April 2019 and connected with this
group in the year of 2004. The vision is to offer opportunities to individual person in order to
provide sustainable growth related to BAT and for shareholders.
The vision CEO is to maintain better tomorrow in which they provide cigarettes to adult’s
smokers and reduce level of risk by providing traditional cigarettes.
He believes in diversity of power in which the individual person can aid assistance in
understanding and target customer segment in changing marketplace. There are various kinds of
style of management in which Jack Bowles use participative management style in which
employees as well as leader perform their work in various levels can involve in the process of
decision-making. Thus, subordinate is offered with reliable information in respect of goal and
objective of organisation and also they can offer innovative& appropriate solutions during
particular phase of time period. So they focus on seek opinion or idea of subordinate in order to
serve customer and influence them to buy products. The style of management of Jack Bowles is
emphasized on empowering subordinates and leader around organisation to assist company in
moving forward (Cohen, 2017).

Due to increase in process of innovation as per the need and wants of its user. Jack has
maintained record related to innovation as well as experience around the various
geographic regions and they can increase the positive image of their tobacco brand
product in front of customer at Marketplace.
The main vision of BAT is to increase satisfaction level of customer in preference of
tobacco and reduce level of risk during particular phase of time period.
Jack Bowles focuses on industry of tobacco is alter at a very fast speed and the preference
in relation to tobacco help in delivering growth of their product that help in maintaining a
successful category of product of organisation (Costa and Pesci, 2016).

There is a use of hierarchy structure of organisation in which there are different role as
well as responsibility which is allotted to various level of company.

The board charter focuses on setting principles, roles and values of BOD. It signifies
director, chairman as well as other director that implement this regulation in an appropriate
manner. Moreover, there are various other departments which involve marketing, digital
marketing, E-Commerce, technology and many more. The department of operation signifies
location like Middle East, North Africa and many more. Moreover, the functional department
involved talent, finance, scientific research and so on (Martens, 2018).
