INTRODUCTION Learning Styles refer to different types of methods and techniques which are adopted in order to ensure that a person is able to ensure that he can use them in a right manner so that the enhancement of the learning can be made in a proper manner(Awang and et.al., 2017). Selection of an appropriate learning style is important for a student to progress in the academics which will help in attaining success in the future. In this report, there will be specific focus on VARK and the learning styles which are associated with VARK. Additionally, recommendations to help teachers create lessons which can suit the VARK learning style will be discussed as a part of this assignment. MAIN BODY VARK and the learning styles associated with it VARK is a model which was developed by Neil Fleming in the year 1987. According to this model, there are different types of learners among the students who have their own set of needs and preferences(Azzi and et.al., 2020). Thus, In this way it can be said that the use of this particular model can be quite helpful for the students in ensuring that they are able to provide their wide range of preferences and ensure that they can enhance their learning in the right manner effectively and efficiently. There are different types of learning styles which are associated with VARK(Nja and et.al., 2019). Thus these type of learning styles can be very helpful in ensuring that the learners are able to develop their learning in the right manner effectively and efficiently so that they are able to make sure that they can manage their wide range of needs and requirements properly. The learning styles which can be associated with VARK are as follows- Visual Learners- It refers to the learning style which is associated with those students who prefer to sit in the front of the classroom(Bajaj and Sharma, 2018). Thus, In this way it can be said these are the students who ensure that they are able to make use of the appropriate techniques and methods through which they will be able to enhance their overall learning in the right way effectively and efficiently. Thus this style is helpful for the teachers in ensuring that they are able to give the right guidance to the different types of students which will be quite helpful in leading towards a higher-level of efficiency and effectiveness in the right manner. In 1
this way, the students will be able to progress in the right way and develop their skills and competencies. Auditory Learners- It refers to the learning style in which the students focus at the tone of the speech and can benefit from the use of supplemental resources like videos or audio components(Fakomogbon and Bolaji, 2017). Thus, In this way it can be said that the teachers can make sure that they are able to learn in the right manner effectively and efficiently which will help in ensuring that a wide range of goals and objectives can be attained in the right manner which will help in developing the skills and competencies of the students. Read/Write Learners- It refers to a particular learning style in which the learners prefer to have text in some format(Fatahi, Moradi and Kashani-Vahid, 2016). Thus, In this way it can be said that the students who have this particular learning style are able to ensure that they can effectively and efficiently learn new things by reading and writing. This is helpful in the development of their skills and abilities in such a manner that they can manage their wide range of needs and requirements properly. The students are required to make sure that through the use of these types of skills and abilities they can enhance the attainment of goals and objectives in the short-term, medium-term and long-term. Kinesthetic Learners- It refers to a learning style in which the learners are able to make sure that they can learn best through ensuring that they can make the use of Hands-on learning abilities in the right manner effectively and efficiently(Hsu, 2017). Thus the students which make the use of this style do not just use the traditional way of learning but also make sure that they can effectively and efficiently be very active in the class which will be quite helpful for them in ensuring that they can manage out their needs and requirements in a proper manner. Recommendations for the teachers The teachers have to ensure that they are able to make the use of appropriate methods and techniques so that they can help the students to attain their wide range of goals and objectives in the right manner(Kirschner, 2017). The recommendations which can be provided to the teachers are as follows- The teachers can make sure that they are able to identify the skills and abilities of all the students to make sure that they can help a lot in managing the various types of needs and requirements of the students in a proper manner(Rahman and Ahmar, 2017). For Visual Learners, it is required that they are able to ensure that they can develop the traditional 2

lessons which can be taught to them because this will be helpful in meeting out the needs and requirements of these learners in a proper manner. The teachers can make sure that they focus more on using the traditional methods and techniques of learning which will be quite helpful in ensuring that they are able to help the students a lot in the attainment of their overall goals and objectives in the future. Lessons are required to be created by them in such a way so that they are able to ensure that they can meet out the needs and requirements of such students who prefer to make the use of traditional methods of learning. For the teachers, it is quite crucial that they focus on using of resources like video or audio components so that the teachers can make sure that they are able to manage out their different types of needs and requirements in the right manner. They are required to put emphasis on making the use of these resources because this will be quite helpful in leading towards the attainment of the wide range of learning goals and objectives quite effectively and efficiently in a proper manner. The teachers should use the lessons in such a manner so that they can make sure that the video or audio components can be used in the right way so that the students can be taught the lessons in an interesting manner which will help in the development of their overall learning abilities. The teachers are recommended that they should make the use of presentations to explain the topics in detail to the students who are Read/write learners. Therefore, it can be helpful in ensuring that with the use of presentations the students can learn in the right way thereby leading towards the development of their learning skills and abilities effectivelyandefficiently.Theymustbeabletoensurethatthroughtheuseof presentations they are able to present the different types of interesting concepts to the class. In this way, the teachers will be able to make sure that the students can learn and perform well in their academic subjects. The teachers need to make sure for the Kinesthetic learners they can use the methods and techniques in which they provide opportunities to them to display their skills and abilities (Truong, 2016). In this way, it can be quite helpful for them to make sure that they can develop their skills and competencies in such a manner so that they are able to attain a wide range of goals and objectives properly. Thus, it is quite important that the teachers 3
are able to provide these learners with the opportunities which will be helpful in ensuring their overall development in a proper manner. Therefore, it is quite crucial for the teachers that they can develop all of these strategies which can be helpful for them in ensuring that they are able to use all of them in a right way which will thereby lead towards the attainment of the different types of goals and objectives. The students in the class will be able to learn in a better manner through the use of the lessons created by the teachers which suit the VARK learning styles. In this way, they will be able to enhance the overall level of efficiency and effectiveness. The students will also be able to focus and concentrate on the development of the various skills and abilities which will be helpful for the students in developing academic excellence in a right way in the future to help them in scoring good marks at the university level. CONLCUSION From the above report, it can be concluded that learning styles refer to the use of appropriate methods and techniques which can be adopted so that the enhancement of the skills and abilities of the students can be carried out in the right way effectively and efficiently in the future. VARK is a model which can be used by the teachers so that they can understand the learning needs and requirements of the students in the right manner. The use of a wide range of recommendations can be made so that the teachers are able to make sure that they can develop their particular skills and abilities for ensuring the attainment of the goals and objectives in the short-term, medium-term and long-term. 4
