INTRODUCTION
Professional communication refer to written, oral, digital and visual forms for delivering
information in a transparent manner among the workplace. Effective professional
communication is most important method for organisation to perform their work easily among
the competitive world. Smooth flow of ideas, decision, advice and fact are major benefits of
effective communication (Thompson, 2018). Burberry is the selected organisation for this report
which is a well-known British luxury fashion house and it's headquarter is situated in Horseferry
Road, London. Further, this report highlights on non-profit initiative of Burberry and overall
event details. Importance of promoting good teamwork and acknowledging individual's effort
will also include in this report. In the last, e-mail and importance of employee's to engage
individual for sustainable business will also include in this report.
TASK 1
Engagement of individuals for non-profit initiative to publicise latest event
Burberry is performing their work at global level and it is known as a well-known
organisation. In the present scenario, Burberry is performing their work at global level and the
products manufactured by Burberry is high in quality. So the prices of Burberry products are
high but to manage brand name and goodwill among society. Burberry take initiative and
establish Burberry foundation in the year 2008 as an independent charity house to manage and
complete charity related activities (Denniston and et. al., 2017). Moreover, board meet with four
times in a year to manage organisation task according to Burberry charity function.
Mission of Burberry
The mission of Burberry is to position firm as a luxury fashion house to sharpen the
position of organisation by sharpening the position in a most rewarding and enduring segment of
market. Sustainable company growth by setting margin to earn attractive returns is also decided
as a mission of Burberry.
Industry
Burberry group plc perform their business as a holding organisation that manufacture,
design and distribute organisation apparels as well as accessories under brand name of Burberry.
They operate function in clothing sector or industry by managing work as a retail and wholesale
organisation.\
