Reduction of Industrial Air Pollution

Air pollution from industries is a major contributor to premature deaths worldwide. Smoke emissions from factories contain toxic compounds that deplete the ozone layer and pose a threat to human health and the environment. reduction of air pollution to meet the
future environmental needs.

Technologies to reduce air pollution.
Electric car
• Cars running on petrol and diesel
account for a very high
percentage of the total
emissions pumped into the
atmosphere.
• The electric car will help curb
this situation since it does not
emit any smoke into the air,
because the car does not burn
fossil fuel.

Wind Turbines & Solar Energy
Wind turbines provide renewable, pollution-free
energy that can be used in factories to reduce
dependence on fossil fuels and coal
The sun provides free renewable energy that can be harnessed and
converted to electricity. The electricity can be used for various
purposes, including industrial and household.

• Countries have started to put
regulation in regard to smoke
emissions from factories.
• Factories are required to fit their
processing systems with a
pollution control system that act
as a filter to extract toxic
compounds from the emissions
released into the atmosphere.

Eco-friendly Building Material.
• Construction companies are moving
from the conventional air pollutant
materials to eco-friendly materials.
• For example, a new way of making
building bricks by compressing and
sun drying instead of the traditional
process of baking and firing.
• Baking and firing process emits so
much toxic substance from the
burning of the brick elements and
from coal.
