Skills audit
Skills audit is an important tool in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of an
individual. This is the reason that I conducted a skill audit in order to identify the areas which I
need to improve and formulate an action plan accordingly.

It is identified from my skill audit that I improved my communication skills during the
week lectures. I found that automation tester is an important learning. It is not easy for me as I
found that there are many problems which I identified such as time management skills, decision
making skills, creative thinking skills and communication skills. There is a training plan in which
all the important elements are mentioned which helps to achieve skills that is required for
industrial placement.

 It is crucial to define the learning objectives that what I need to learn should be clearly
mentioned in the training plan such as time management skills.

 The next step is clarifying key topics that what requires for the development of skills and
knowledge.
 Organised resources is the important step in which company needs to identify resources
which are required for the purpose of getting proper training.
 Plan for presentation techniques such as role play, online learning, lectures, case studies,
small group teachings, etc.
 Include evaluation in which training and development programs should be evaluated in
such a manner so that they are able to achieve the goals and objectives.
 Focus on timing is very important in which skills developed with the proper timing.

PART B: Reflective diary of the industrial placement
Explain what you have learnt about your company in context with the Construction Industry or
the methods/processes used.
At the time of my internship, I work there as a business analyst. There my role was to
monitor and planning, budgeting and forecasting, reporting and variance analysis etc. they plan
the content strategies, data development visualization and share observation and conclusion with
customer or co workers. Automation testing is a process of testing software and the other

technical product to make sure that it meet strict need or requirements. As a trainee I work there
and learn about the working style of the respective company. In business team I learn about
several different system which the company used in order to conduct the designing programs,
simulations and testing of exiting or new software. This technique is used to test software to
check and compare received output with output expected or assumed. During the internship I had
conducted these responsibilities given below:
 Create and share takeaways from research, provide implementable observation and
suggestion.
 Testing are advertised, analysed the core metrics, and methods to improve the working
performance are being determined.,
The performance was reviewed on regular basis and ask question related different system which
I learned form them. There are various analysing methods that are used by the company for the
Automation Tester are given below:
 key performance indicators- Under this method they monitored and efforts were being
made in order to improve the google search ranking of agents. Additionally, more that
2000 users received the transfers information through learning by focusing n the market
criteria and KPI review. The KPI tool tells that the automation leader need to be tracked.
 Email campaign- The email campaign are those outreach strategies which include the
addressing large number of the peoples at once. The email promotions are most effective
method to target the users and new customers with different or unique deals as useful
material. Hence, it is a good method to improve relationship with clients
For the perspective of company I learn about business industry where they use new
technology or data in order to increase revenue, develop the value added system, testing software
and construct the business market ecosystem. The industrial business organisation
are beneficial from business technology in various ways like enhancing efficiency and increased
the profit margin. Digitization is a method of the automating publication operations and current
mechanical by covert the data from an analogue.
There are different process that are used by the company, I learned these in a detailed manner.

 The process conversion business strategies are evolve din a prominent topic within
performing structure. APIs, statistics, image recognition and other advancements that
provide the organisation new and different methods in order to rethink operation across
the company to minimize expenses, improve performance and speed up the operation.
 Focus on the replacing manual human activities with device and system that increase
efficiency. It is very crucial for the success of software products. Many organisation
ignore the high ability for the develpi8ng automation tester inventions to open new
entirely market fro their business which they are already addressed. The form of this
transformation gives them new opportunities for their potential value generation.
Describe the project(s) including issues / problems/ solutions
During my internship, my team leader give me a project web browser automation. It was
good opportunity for me in order to develop my skill effectively. In this, a website is created for
browsing and my work was to ensure that the website created function appropriation on goal and
objective which was predefined. There I have face many issue give below:
 I was doing this project in a team so it is very challenging to communicate and
collaborate effective with team members. It was an investee, for this the whole team
involve to identify objective of the automation and set target that we need for spending
significant efforts.
 There are a large variety of the testing tools such as selenium, katalon tend etc. Every tool
tend for support a particular situation. It is very difficult for me to identify the effective
tool for work on my project.
 Some members claim that the test automation can be handled by technical tester or
manual tester because many of test tools already support the recording test script. The test
automation need necessary technical skill to makes accurate design and build solutions to
resolve technical issues.
Solution to handle issues
 Firstly decide that what to automate, its objective and befits. By this it become easy to
work ahead with automation tester. It is important to know that what thing or method

work in a particular environment and not work in other environment. It must be consider
different elements like environment, application under test, potential impact,
dependencies and more during deciding that what to automate.
 Priorities and divide the task among all team member and identify the outcome which is
wished to accomplish through the test automation. It is essential to understand that all
members have not same skill. Sop divide the work accordingly the skill or talent of
members. It is essential to make new plan that help to identify which test is beneficial for
automation.
 Make sure to prepare the execution process as it will help to allocate resources during
different points of the time and also ascertain the probable risk with action items
beforehand. By identifying test process it will be helpful to find a best methods in order
to perform the given task efficiently and effectively.

As I was busy in my training jobs as per my role of technical tester in which I have to
build and plan a business marketing campaign involving digital marketing and many more
promotive sources in order to spreading awareness of my product and services in public. On the
other side to manage our own company website pages to access the consumers review or many
other activity that give the improvement to business. I have continuously measure and design a
document of people about our services through the consumers and business marketing
campaign program. This is for directing the operation my data collection from the users from
the campaign paid as visit from our websites and I have to reach all the users to talk about
my product and services. There were some consumers who didn't show any interest and some
of does shown there interest in my services. On that time I have understand and analyse the
needs and wants of the people and ask them to provide some ideas or any suggestion so that I
can improve my lacking point more. I have formulated BDD features, steps, rules scripts for
testing worker power management, force info, occupation type, education, capable and students
using Gherkin scripts and reviewed them with a concern expert. I ariled binding draft on the
forms for adding, editing and removing worker information. I am presently making advancement
to automatize and test using the cucumber framework.

As I was working so my company assigned me some task to do which I have to attain
properly and some sort of actions which generates the leaves of clients. Moreover, I have to
make a marketing strategy that promotes the start up I have make some video presentation and
some slogans or messages that states the services and product related to my company. The
advertising that shows how it will give advantage to the company. As I have got many of
expected clients and positive consumers. I got an opportunity to explore varied individuals
who were working in technical field, I got a chance to prove my abilities and skills. I have
many things that was totally new for me and I have develop my technical skills more through
the help of feedbacks and review of people . While working I have got the experience of
managing people or team in a effective way. I got a knowledge regarding the languages and
other terms that are useful in future for professional life . While organising campaign I got data
that is useful for me to get a business in market. The campaign was memorable for me that I
have a experience of working between the honourable people. Through I got a chance of
spreading awareness about product and services. During internship I have learned and task was
allotted to me to record the attendance of the team or workers everyday. The major I have
learned to lead the team in a proper way by coordinating them and how to maintain relations
with them. I have gained experience in communicating with people I have a fear of
communicating others.
Overall I have got a good and best learning while internship and organising a marketing
campaign for my business product and services. All the learning will be useful in future.

As I scrutinizing many placement jobs from different job portals where types of industries
have recruitment for hiring vacancy position where the company seeking for potential candidate.
I was doing master from university after the end of the semester in institution campus drive
was placing in which many of company were coming to select the students for their company.
The companies were selecting people on the basis of knowledge and qualification. I got an
experience in end to end testing and I have gained experience to test the manpower module
handling, staff detail and navigating with knowledge, subjects and scholars .

Some type of issues I have faced during placement process, in starting I was not
capable to find any institution In my field. Apart from this there were some interviews where
I didn't action well so it leads to the rejection because of not performing well. This kind of
rejection reduces my confidence to grow in career path and I was not capable to improve my
weaknesses. After sometimes I get an opportunity in my field to perform workings . I have
started internship In that institution. Where I have learned many things I have improved a
many things where I was lacking. Although I have got the knowledge regarding marketing and
many more that useful for my business and in future. They all are beneficial all the learnings
were useful and advantageous for my company. The company where i was working as a intern
provides me the chance to increase the skills of own in order to use that skills in future to
achieve the goals in effective manner.

As I want to prepare for my placement on which I have to prepare with my objectives
that what I exactly want to do in future. I want to work in technical field in marketing analyst.
For this designation I have to achieve various knowledge on business analysts occupation
and to convert into my ability and knowledge. However business analyst techniques Swot
