INTRODUCTION
Information and communication technology can become denotative term for
informational technology that emphasis role of incorporate communication and segregation of
telecommunications and computers. It also includes role of enterprise software, audiovisual and
middleware etc. This term is used to refer usage of telephone networks and computer networks.
In modern times, it is most important to use these technologies as it is due to Covid pandemic
(Al-Emran, Mezhuyev and Kamaludin, 2019). Due to this pandemic many of the people use
these application to conduct various meetings and classes. Company which is taken in this report
is Tesco. In this report, there is a discussion of various communication technologies. Then there
is a application of cloud storage and computing are discussed. There advantages and
disadvantages are mentioned in the below report. Then at last it covers challenges and measures
of security and privacy that users take when they go online for variety of services.

ICT is a information and communication tools that is infrastructure and components that
enable modern computing. This is a term which is usually accepted to mean all devices. These
devices includes various applications, networking components and system that allows people to
interact with everyone in digital world. There is a discussion of two application that are used in
Tesco company in this Covid pandemic a most to interact with customers. Let discuss about
them:
Zoom
Zoom is a video telephony software program which is developed by Zoom video
communication. It is a free plan which provides a video chatting services the customers that
allows 100 participants at a same time. It includes maximum time which allows 40 minutes video
conferring with the people. It was founded in the year 2012 which is available in 11 language
(Avgerou and Walsham, 2017). User and people have a option to upgrade their application by
subscribing to a paid plan. During this pandemic time of Covid 19, company has earned a lot of
profits as there is a increase in number of participants and also there is a increase in use of Zoom
app.
