Introduction
The information system may be defined as the mixture of the various types of
media transmission networks which is fabricated by people, hardware, software,
collection and distributing the important information in the corporate sector. These
data assist the business organizations in managing their different types of business
operation in a very effective manner with the help of suitable strategies and this also
give assistance in decision making(Gallini and Makoveichuk, 2019). This allow the
business in order to understand that how their operation effectively interact with the
supplier and consumer which help in improving the market position. The following
report is based on the TESCO company which is a well known British multinational
retail brand of UK whose headquarters are situated in the Welwyn Garden city
United Kingdom. The following report is going to cover the various types of theories,
models and techniques which assist in developing the IT solution along with the
evaluation of the different types of system. This report also highlights the con
concept of globalization and the effect of IT in globalization. In addition this, this
report also discussed the advantage and disadvantage of the digital infrastructure
and the risk which is related with information system outsourcing.
Task 1: Theories, methods and techniques which relate to
the design and development for TWO of the IT solutions
listed here: (i) McAfee; (ii) Moodle; (iii) Canvas; (iv) MS
Office
There are different types of tools and techniques which gives assistance in
developing and designing the IT solutions, form which some of them discussed
below: -
 MS office: this is basically constituted set of computer applications which are
utilized in the office premises and for the business perspective. This software
was introduced in the year 1990 by the Microsoft organization. These types of
framework is very useful for the office premises undertaking and the
contributes towards completing the work effectively. Microsoft word, EXCEL
and PowerPoint is the first version of this software. This is basically a
copyright and rights are in the hand of Microsoft company. The company is

specialized in offering various types of document managing software. The MS
office is available in the more the 35 languages and all the software are
verified by the MAC security. In the present time the MS office include the
various elements like Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint, Assess, outlook and
many more applications (Jordan and et. al., 2020). But the most important as
well widely used application of the MS Office are MS Word in documents are
made, MS excel basically a spreadsheet used for calculating and managing
the data and the MS PowerPoint which is used by the individuals or firm in
making presentation. In addition to this, MS office has introduced various
types of new features in their applications like grammatical check, spelling
checker, scripting language and many more along with this these software
can also be used in the ISO and Android process(Venter and Swart, 2018).

 McAfee: - this is a company which was founded in 1987 and the founder of the
corporation is John McAfee. The Intel acquire the McAfee in 2011 and the
now the this is being considered as the most vital part of the security division
of the Intel. The McAfee is well known security brand who provide various
types of digital security solutions for the computers and other devices(Kapoor
and et. al., 2020). This digital security application provide security form the
different types of viruses, bots, attacks and many more. In addition to this, the
information within the system is also protected by these software from the
codes and these application also protect form the various types of threats
such as spam,attacks, hacking of websites and many more. The McAfee
system includes the filtering, standardize and antivirus which provide these
outcomes. Moreover to this, this also give protect to the HTML text (Vielberth

In the different levels of the organization all these system software are used
which give assistance at the strategic level, operational level and many more. These
types of system helps the business organization in taking the correct decision for the
success of the business. In context to the TESCO PLC the various forms of support
system has been mentioned below: -
DSS (Decision Support System)
This system may be defined as a computerized program which assist the
business organization in taking effective judgment and select the specific course of
action within the workplace(Kapulin, Russkikh and Moor, 2019). In relation to the
TESCO, with the help of decision support system the company can effectively
analyze the large data and compile the comprehensive data which give assistance to
the business in solving the various types of organizational issues as well as improve
the decision making process. Along with this, DSS also give support to the upper
management level as well as the middle level management in designing the
effective decision and producing the outcome on the basis of present as well as past

information or data in to the optimal accessible and executive level reports for
example like billing area, accounting department and many more. This system not

Support System by analyzing which can be used in order to evaluate the business

the company can take the important decision by analyzing the data which result in

business organization can develops the effective reports that gives a comprehensive
overview of the collected information which help in taking the important decisions of the

company can develop the effective strategies for the business by using this support system
which result in gaining the competitive position in the market. They can also understand
that how they can enhance the customer satisfaction level through its products(Zhang and
