INTRODUCTION
Inquiry based learning is the concept that is a form of active learning that begin by posing
questions or posing problems and scenarios. This is the concept which contrasts with traditional
education that generally depends on the teachers that presenting sat in their own knowledge
about the particular subject. In this assignment, The individual will going to undertake an
enquiry based project and also going to investigate the current trends which are running in the
retail industry by using valid research sources (Psycharis, 2016) . This report is going to consider
Amazon company which is American multinational technology that concentrating on the e-
commerce, artificial intelligence. Furthermore, this research is going to focusing on the
evaluation of e-commerce at Amazon. Apart from this, this report also going to consider
literature review and some methodologies in order to collect the information and data. Apart
form this, this research also going to give recommendation to the company so that the company
can achieve their goals and objectives.

Amazon is an American multinational technology organization that concentrating on the
different activities like e commerce, artificial intelligence, digital streaming and many more. The
company is founded in 5 July 1994 in Bellevue, Washington, United Kingdom. The founder of
the company is Jeff Bezos. This research is going to analyze the evaluation and impact of e-

spending. One of the most popular Amazon e commerce innovations is online food shoppingIn
few last years the use of technology and utilization of the techniques in retail organization has
been increased and even the huge number of individual not believing in online buying of
products services instead of physical shopping. E-commerce is quickly expanding, with
worldwide sales exceeding $3.5 trillion in 2019 and predictions predicting $6.5 trillion by 2023.
E-commerce is indeed anticipated to account for 22% of all global retail sales by 2023. A range
of growing trends, such as enhanced mobile retail shopping, easier roadside collection, and
increased quick deployment by merchants and third-party providers, are driving this expansion in
e-commerce and m-commerce.(Lynott and Bittner, 2019). there are numerous people or
consumer that are buying their good online. Now a days online purchasing has increased with
the use of internet. By using online platform the company Amazon become capable to improve
their productivity and achieve their goals and objectives. Apart from this, e-commerce also
create impact on price flexibility as by using e-commerce the price flexibility has been increased
and uniform pricing has been decreased. E-commerce brings more opportunities for the company
and helps the company improve their brand identity at online platform.

As per the view point of “Isik-Ercan, 2020” Amazon is the company which is also known as
online retail services. It allow the business to trade their good and services on the platform as
Amazon seller. Amazon company is following business to business seller program where the
company is providing and satisfying the requirement of the business customer. Apart from that,
as the company is trading their good and products directly to their consumers so this kind of
activity comes into business to consumer marketing. The Amazon company provide wide range
of goods and services in the marketplace and as the company replaces the character or activity of
the distributor and due to this, the in the marketplace the manufacturer company can get or
obtain their good and services from business to business and from business to consumer. The
manufacturer who are associated with the company listed out their products when any kind of
orders have made. In this condition the company provide an option to the manufacturer either
they can select to ship the goods by itself or they can choose or use the fulfillment services that is
offered by the company(Baskwill, 2018) .

Primary research: It includes those kind of investigation which is associated to the performance
of task in order to collect the data at the primary level. This will Going to help the company in
order to collect the data in the primary level end this kind of method include interviews,
observation surveys and many more.

increase their sales and efficiency. It is recommended to the organization that the
company should focusing on the economic recession because it create impact on the
Amazon sales.
It is also advised to the company, that they should use appropriate business model so that
they can achieve their goals and they can also become capable to provide opportunities to
their seller.
Apart from this, it is also recommended to the company that they should use most
innovative technology and practices because the innovative technologies is huge
investment for the company in context of e-commerce giant. Furthermore, it is also very
important for the company that , they should maintain more sustainable competitive
advantages in the company by considering different strategies like low cost-leadership,
customer differentiation and focus strategies.

From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that there are different retail
trends in the marketplace that support the organization to improve their capabilities and
efficiency in the marketplace. As the organization is focusing on the online grocery as well as
Amazon one, Amazon advertising so that they can follow the trends in achieve their goals and
objectives. Furthermore, as this research formulate an objectives in order to analyses the

this research considered literature review where two objectives are made and that objectives is
