What INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE is all about?
International youth centre aims at doing social integration and is involved in social cause for the
young African origin living in UK and abroad. Their main activities in which they work are

skills and has built up a level of confidence within me to fluently communicate with any person
into the organisation. This also helped me learning what type of skills suits me , what is suitable
for me and what is not because choosing the wrong skills in the beginning might affect the your
entire career and your desired goals. It taught me How to keep your goals and objectives in
focus. Being the student of INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE it helped me to enjoy
living into various new countries which I never even dreamed of it gave me the experience of

new countries an their culture. Also I gained practical knowledge in the real world environment
of the business organisation as well as the corporate world environment. It includes industry,
research, universities, institutes, consulting firms, laboratories, local government, research
institutes etc.
Not only this but I made new friends from different countries and learn their behaviour become
acquainted with different working culture.
It increased my confidence level to deal with different situations and how o cope up and utilise
the survival skills whenever required. It helped me to work upon my own language and learn
different other languages, social and communication skills of different countries. I obtained a
wide range of updated knowledge and learning from the INTERNATIONAL YOUTH
CENTRE as well a range of experience which would definitely help me in my future to add into
my success. This organisation helps you to build high professional as we are the building blocks
of tomorrow’s future. No doubt they made my CV shine and become the most effective and key
element of my career path. They give a range of options where you get to choose from 80
countries. They send around 4000 trainers per year for your training which is the most effective
thing to happen to your career to get trained by such pronounced trainers who are near about 60
years of experience and ample amount of knowledge. They support with practical knowledge
instead of filling your minds with only theoretical knowledge they look after practical
assignments and learning to their students. They develop you entirely on the whole and make
you ready for your coming barriers and career path. Organised cultural activities and excursions
with INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE all over the world. There major concern is not
charging fees from the students but to make them bright for the future so that they may not feel
inefficient at any point of time in their career life. The work of INTERNATIONAL YOUTH
CENTRE is look after their development and overall training as they are the mid way to the
success of the students. Because if they do not train them well it may affect their entire career so
they have to be very precise regarding their deve3lopment and identifying their inbuilt skills.
My experience during the work placements and things that i learnt are mentioned below.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE who treat students as their valuable assets. It was a
great opportunity fro me to be the part of the organisation. I learnt many things and some of them
am mentioning below.
Set realistic personal goals – Before joining the organisation honestly i was not so
focused about my goals and there was bit confusion in making the right choice but after
being with International youth centre. I learnt how to choose your priorities and how to
make focus on the right things. As the placements were so structured and were not like
the others. So you need to spend time and energy before you start up to think upon your
goals that you want to accomplish. They helped out that in what area I wanted to get
skilled or trained also I need to be specialised or just some learning’s would be enough
for the same. They say that while providing the learning the student himself gets a sense
of accomplishment and gets a clear vision about what they really wanted to choose and
the same happened with me. I alternatively chose the area which fetched me a lot while
learning and so that became my goal and ultimate target to achieve.
Had regular meetings with my superiors - They gave me the opportunity to have
regular meetings with their superiors so that I may feel that am also the part of the
organisation also it gave me opportunity to share my experiences and lessons learnt with
them. This way I learnt to communicate with the superiors who may help me to adjust
well in the future organisation I may chose or go to.
Tackle all task with positive attitude- The most crucial thing which the most human
beings lack is the confidence where feeling no shame I was also the one but after joining
International youth centre they taught me how to tackle each and every task with the
same enthusiasm as in the organisation there comes the times when sometimes you feel
frustrated might be due to the load of work or tiredness where you might also freak out
but then they taught me how to deal with every situation with positive attitude and
positive energy which was again a new and important thing for me to learn at the work
placements.
Avoid negativity –the quickest way to ruin a good organisation is to being negative all
the time there are things which affects your working and behaviour like coming late in
the office, being rude, complaining about others or about the working of the organisation
to other employees, arguing with your colleagues etc. this usually comes up when you

carry the most narrow mind concept in your head but INTERNATIONAL YOUTH
CENTRE is the one who focuses upon building you positive by all means they taught me
how to be polite and how to use soft tone to make your work done through your juniors
or anyone else in the organisation. It gave me the positive energy and a willingness to
work in the teams or groups.
Never shun a chance to learn more - They say that never leave the work incomplete
make sure present all the work which has been assigned to you they taught me how well I
can do that by attending various meetings, involving in different events, participating in
workshops and real all the material of the company and learn as much as I can.
Get as much exposure as possible – Their major concern was to give us the maximum
possible exposure of the skills and knowledge into the organisation so they had a strategy
for the same which was they had the system of placements rotations where they rotate me
among various departments so that i may get a bird eye view of almost the entire
organisation departments and their workings. They don’t let me stop by taking up the
new tasks and assignments because they know practice and learning always makes a man
perfect. They also let me attend the outside social events, department meetings along with
this i exposure new ideas and techniques of doing and presenting the work.
There was ample number of things and scopes to be achieved in the path of
INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE. Their focus was not on the single area but they
always focused upon developing us entirely and lets us shine through out. It gave me the
opportunity to roam and travel different new countries and have a exposure of new culture,
make new contacts with different countries business person which may help me in my future.
They taught me that one should never be afraid to ask the questions because if we ask
questions we definitely get our answers or i could say the learning outcomes from the same
so never hesitate to be the one to stand up from the out and raise out your voice out. Also
always take the initiative to be the first one to speak out not inky this but be the first person
to complete the task and assignments, take initiates to take the responsibilities and the duties
it make you feel motivated and enthusiastic into the organisation. For achieving your goals
effectively they make you learn to find a good mentor who can give you a wide range of
guidance and his experience for the same. There is no harm choosing the right mentor who
can guide you through out your learning journey. Making network was again one of the

important thing I achieved from INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE they taught me how
to build new contacts with high business man. They say the most and the despotic thing is to
enjoy being yourself feel proud to be real you instead of trying to be like someone else. Stop
comparing yourself with others make sure you have the completion with yourself and your
success but with no one else. Also have fun while you are working because being happy is
the most important key element to work effectively and efficiently.
So this was the experiences I learned from INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE which were
so effective and helping for my career that would come to my path. Now I feel so confident
about my skills and myself.
