Civil aviation is regulated very tightly, in order to ensure the top level of safety.
United Kingdom Civil authority has set up basic yet tight international regulations. All
segments of the industry are having high levels of approvals and licenses. The Civil Aviation
Authority spends huge on inspecting the operational areas, to ensure that the airline industry
is improving its safety standards (Publicapps.caa.co.uk. 2017).
The Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority is the government authority, which is
responsible for the overall regulation of the civil aviation. The functions include organizing
the safety regulation of air operations even outside the Australian territory, clear as well as
concise safety standards by developing efficient enforcement strategies. There are more
responsibilities like, alcohol and drug management testing and plans, issuing permits, licenses
and many more activities (Infrastructure.gov.au. 2017).
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India, is responsible for providing safety in
the civil aviations. Safety programs include several activities for improving the conditions.
The Directorate General has special authority to issue directions. DGCA have special rules to
enter and inspect any facility or personnel. The responsibility of other foreign aircrafts,
operating in India, is also the Directorate General’s department (Dgca.nic.in. 2017).
Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular of the United States provides the
framework for managing safety, which consists of a set of expectations aligning with the
format and structure of International Civil Aviation Organization. The safety is provided to
all the operational areas, training and safety communication. Risk assessment or mitigation
and hazard identification are also carried out, enhancing safety for all and committing
towards their responsibilities (Rgl.faa.gov. 2017).

The comparison of fatal accidents and airplane crashes of Australia with U.S., U.K.
and India is slightly better. Australia has better safety records in relation to the other
countries. Moreover, U.K. and U.S. has marked its impression in aviation safety as compared
to India and other countries (Publicapps.caa.co.uk. 2017). The Australian aviation control is
however, slightly better than others. The countries must consider the levels of safety and
work accordingly. The surveys show that fatal accidents are more in United Kingdom. India’s
operational management and customer satisfaction is lesser as compared to the other three.
The Civil Aviation Authority spends huge on inspecting the operational areas, to ensure that
the airline industry is improving its safety standards. Other countries doesn’t lack behind
(Infrastructure.gov.au. 2017).
The Aviation control of Australia provides safety regulation of air operations even
outside the Australian territory. The safety measures are clear as well as concise and highly
standardized which helps in developing efficient enforcement strategies. In India’s Aviation
industry, the safety programs basically include several activities for improving the conditions.
Still a lot needs to be done, in comparison to other three countries. The Directorate General
has special rules to enter and inspect any facility or personnel. The responsibility of other
foreign aircrafts, operating in India, is also the Directorate General’s department. Risk
assessment measures and hazard identification needs to be more active, enhancing safety for
all and committing towards their responsibilities. Modern and innovative implementations
will help the industry flourish and reduction of fatal accidents will occur (Dgca.nic.in. 2017).

with safety and security. The international industry provides services to every corner of the

world. It has been a crucial part of the global economy’s creation. The industry is a major
force of economy, in terms or operations and impact on other industries
(Publicapps.caa.co.uk. 2017). In the United States airline industry, hundred certified
passenger airlines are currently operating over eleven million airplane departures per annum.
