INTRODUCTION
International management is defined as monitoring, planning and controlling the
organisation that conduct business in local as well as international market. International
management require skills, knowledge and potential capabilities to perform work beyond the
local market. With understand of culture, value, ethics and laws of a particular nation it is easy to
complete all work in multi-national market (Caballero, 2015). This report is written from
perspective of TESCO that operate their operations and functions in retail sector. In present
scenario, TESCO operate their supermarket, hypermarket and stores in global market. Moreover,
this report highlights on expatriate failure specifically towards culture adjustment. In last, report
will also focus on factors that contribute towards the notion of globalised economy
demonstrating awareness about ethical sound and international policies.

According to present market business are performing their operations and functions
according to global or international industry. Expatriate failure is defined as a term that is used
for encompass different issue due to which return on investment is prevent. Culture aspects in
TESCO formulate challenges for management as diversity among workplace and in market is
complex to manage because non-involvement of culture value in organisation. This refers that
TESCO face challenges related with society and culture because top authorities are in favour of
local market and workforce only. Early return, underperformance and adjustment problems are
some issue due to which expatriate failure take place. Both industry and destination face
different expatriate failures. Apart from this, Globalisation provide similar platform to all
organisation whether, they are small or large. With the study of different phenomenon related
with culture shock and their influence on expatriates deploy different factors related with world.
Expatriate face and experience culture shock and deal with it on daily basis (Covin and Miller,
2014). There are different factors relates with expatriates such as length of time, reason of travel,
goal of journey etc. Expatriate usually pass six months to five years at a place. The motive of
such individuals is to learn from the place and than return to their home country for surviving life
