3 Internship Progress Reports Week 1 In the first week, my task is to gather information about the company. The internship program was carried out in Adeem general trading, which is a reputed firm of Arab emirates. This company supplies mainly lightning control and solar solutions and security systems. I have observed the way this firm operates and found some positive aspects. For example, this firm provides after-sales service after selling equipment. This can help to increase customer satisfaction rate and provides this firm competitive advantage (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart & Wright, 2017). I faced some challenges in introducing myself to the company as I am shy. In addition, the experience this week was good as I have been provided the position of a junior administrative officer and allocated tasks that has increased my learning experience and in- depth knowledge about the subject. Week 2 In that week, my task was to shadow the adviser and learn from him. So, I have observed his activities and the way he performs his tasks. One on one meetings have taken place and I have gained knowledge with the help of my advisor. It was challenging to understand all aspects of this job role. Asking questions can help in getting a clear knowledge about a particular subject (Serrat, 2017). For mitigating this challenge, I used to ask questions. Answers from my adviser have helped me to understand the job role. Overlooking the way he completed the project has helped me to gain experience. I have taken notes of all the important points. Another experience was going through important documents related to my position in the office. They gave many important papers to me and have asked for my feedback. In this way, I have communicated with the management and learned about my responsibilities.
4 Internship Progress Reports Week 3 In this week, my task was to accomplish a project that was provided by my senior. I have assembled materials for financial analysis and prepared budget and reports. Different analysis was performed by me, which was assembled in a report or graphic format. Office supplies and stock maintenance tasks were also performed in this week. I have experienced different professional development while performing these tasks. Professional development helps interns to perform well in future (Winslow, Eliason & Thiede, 2016). I have observed the working process in a professional ground and learned different techniques of problem- solving. However, I faced different challenges like lack of communication skills. I am unable to communicate properly with staff and seniors that have created a barrier in data collection process. Week 4 I was asked to submit project to my adviser and this was my task for Week 4. So, I have submitted my project and shown it to my adviser. It was challenging to get good feedback on my first project. However, I have got proper feedback on my project. According to Chawla, Gabriel, Dahling, & Patel (2016), feedback of seniors motivate new employees for ensuring better performance in future. I observed the feedback and accepted the criticism. I was asked to take more time for performing it. I gather experience of first project submissions and getting feedback. I have understood that I need to invest more time to be perfect. I have learned from my mistake with the help of the feedback from my adviser. Week 5 This week, I got a second opportunity to present my project once again to my adviser. I did this task and was observing his reaction to my presentation. A new employee gets

I was expecting good feedback from my adviser. Finally, he liked my project and it has given me the experience of learning. I have learned that investing more time in a project is a form of dedication. As a result, people get more accurate results as I have got. I have come to know that my adviser is experienced in this field and he is trying to help me in gathering the same experience of working. Week 6 In this week, I have presented my learning and experience from this internship program. Brief description regarding my experience was provided in this week. McKnight & Watson (2017) have mentioned that internship progress report explains the ability of the organization to educate interns. The experiences and problems are presented in a report format to my assessor. I have noted down different professional experience like problem- solving, task management in this report. Before I have only theoretical knowledge and practical experience has enhanced my depth in this subject. I came to know about different professional practices like financial control, preparation of budget, maintaining supplies and others. Different scopes of improvement have also been identified as communication skills.
