Introduction
Personal and professional development is considered as one of most critical aspect which
need to be referred by every individual. In order to have better understanding about the subject I
have participated in group presentation. It allows to have effective development of key norms so
that better sustainable opportunities can be attained in terms of development. Initially I was
afraid to have participation in the group presentation but with an impressive support from the
team members I have overcome the issue. I have also witnessed in the learning that effective
working can be promoted in desired manner through personal and professional development.
Main Body
In order to have effective group presentation I have focused on number of strategies
which assist in expertise development. It has allowed me to have presentation of skills in better
manner so that objective can be accomplished (Van Zundert, 2010). Practice is considered as
technique what has made me realised that continuous efforts can bring impressive improvement
in task and skills. During the presentation participation to attain expertise I have focused on
revision technique which has allowed to meet sustainability. It has made me famous around the
office of staying up late the neigh before presentation.
I have also considered optimistic nature in order to improve the standards of presentation.
I have focused on activities that allows to have transfer of nervous energy into motivation so that
task can be performed in positive manner. Morale advancement techniques has also been
employed by me to enhance the confidence. It was beneficial for me because it has assisted in
preparing and presenting the group activity more effectively. To take participation in other
presentation help to enhance the skill of person (Schmidt, Rotgans and Yew, 2011). In this kind
of activities the knowledge plays very essential role. I have also participated effectively in team
meeting which has also enhanced my skills. With an assistance of this, presentation has been
prepared in consisted manner.
Along with this, I have also witnessed that environmental values also plays a critical role
in preparation of group presentation. In this regard, I have tried to make team environment in
motivated manner so that I can have better efforts in team activity. It has also allowed me to
present an impressive content in order to understand the subject personal and professional
development. It is also significant to have proper analysis of audience need. As I have always
tried to talk people regarding various subjects. It has also helped me in identification of need,

according to which I have participated in group presentation. I have also focused impressively on
the communication process so that need of target audience can be determined. Presentation
preparation according to needs has lead group activity to impressive level of success. In addition
to this, it can be said that using positive visualisation the individual can easily determine the
optimistic conditions. Such kind of aspects has also assisted me to ensure that I am participating
effectively in the team activity.
During the presentation, I have also became acknowledged that effective presentation
does not require too much material. It means covering a wide volume of subjects and content in
the presentation can impact the overall effectiveness. It is one of key reason that I have used
bullets in the presentation for presenting specific content. By having such consideration the
reliable information has been presented (Evans, 2013). Use of graphs and other criteria is also
impressive because it facilitate in preparation of group presentation. Along with this, for better
understanding about the subject, I have also referred to the notes in the presentation. It means the
additional significant information has been provided in the notes. It helps in effective
accomplishment of goals and objectives. In addition to this, for better understanding of
presentation standards I have attended other presentation and seminars. It has provided me
information about the presentation standards and made me understanding about their practical
application. As I was nervous at the initial stage of activity so I have tried to get things in a
relaxed manner so that issue can be overcome. I have also focused on keep smiling during the
group activity which has also made me relax and helped in overall development. It is necessary
to ensure that individual is considering deep breath so that long term opportunities can be
attained (Harkness, 2014).
Conclusion
On the basis of above statements, it can be said that impressive presentation can be
prepared with a focus on practice, understanding, communication, etc. By having an application
of such factors in group activity the issues can be resolved in desired manner. Effective
consideration of diverse standards is essential for skill development.
