INTRODUCTION Business and information system can be defined as a tool which is used by organisations to manage organisational data. With the help of it large as well as small business entities can respond to the challenges which are related to management of information of company. The case which will be discussed under this project is related to UMC (United Milk Commodities). It was founded in year 1963 by Geoff Frost in Berwick, Victoria. The product range of the organisation is very large which includes skinny, reduced fat, flavoured and whole milk. This report covers various topics such as use of excel for business intelligence, business process model etc. Along with this, role of business process modelling for the company, importance of information, development of new ordering system, difference between different elements and outlining of privacy laws are also covered under this assignment. There are two options available to the company which are discussed below: Native stand alone application:This type of apps are considered as stand alone entity which are required to be updated regularly. It is mainly developed for use on a specific device or a platform. If it is used by UMC as an ordering system then it can help the company to optimise its performance and take advantage of latest technology which is famous in the market. Mobile webpage application:It is a type of application which is not required be updated by the user it updates it self. It can perform the actions in more quicker manner as compare to other apps.
