Marketing mix is basically a management
tool that is used by an organisation and its
managers to have better set of strategies
and more effective formulation of policies
for leading better placement and effective
promotion and marketing of a project. In
General form, the marketing mix comprises
of four main elements i.e. price, place,
product and promotion but after ward three
more elements are also get included into the
set of marketing mix which consists of
people, process and physical evidence.
The current task is based on Marks and
Spencer that is famous and quite well
known multinational retailer and one of the
major British supermarket which is having
its headquarter situated at London,
England.

marketing mix tool which comprises of
price, product, place and promotion but
after ward three other elements are also
included in set of elements of marketing to
ensure more effective and completes
strategies for success of a product which
comprises of process, people and physical
evidence.
Marks and Spencer is one of the major
Retailer of UK which is having its branches
located at several location thus, the most
vital element of marketing mix for this
organization is based on its promotion
strategy. The way and modes used for
communication and interaction with
customers is mainly comprises in the
promotion element of marketing mix.
Promotion- this aspect of marketing mix
comprises of all the activities and tactics
that are undertaken and adopted by an
organisation to ensure and make its product
and services known and more praised by
using various means and mode of
communication. Thus, the promotion
strategies are mainly associated with the
ways and tool used by an organization to
promote and advertise its product and
services in target market along with setting
a proper connection and interaction which
consumers through means of effective
communication channels.
To ensure effective promotion strategy and
set a viable connection with all its
customers an effective set of promotion
strategy and tactics is adopted and used by
Marks and Spencer which comprises use of
all marketing medium like print media,
advertisement on TV, internet, online and
digital tools, social media, etc.
Proper care is taken by Marks and Spencer
in order to align its advertisement campaign
on TV and other modes with its digital
marketing strategy. Further, a common and
more attractive message and content is
selected by Marks and Spencer company to
provide a clear and more transparent
message to its potential customer regarding
the positive and attractive aspects of its
product and services. Apart from this,
Marks and Spencer is also having an
official website that is used by this
organisation to promote and showcase its
branded clothes for men, women and kids.
Further, to ensure more traffic on its
website and to attract a larger number of
potential audience to make purchase, a list
and useful content in form of blogs and
other fashion tips is also provided by Marks
and Spencer in its website which enhance
loyalty and connection level with its
customers.
