IntroductionIt is the industry which is responsible for giving primary food services and temporary places such ashotels, conference centers, resorts or amusement parks. The industry of catering is conneted withthe hospitaity industry providing food services to such institutions which are schools, hospitals andin private industry provide food service to cafeterias or motion picture studios and private parties.The fields which comes under hospitality industry are event planning, travelling and additionalfields within the tourism industry. Hospitality industry is basically depends on the availability ofconvenience time and disposal income. They are consist of multiple groups such as directoperations and facility maintenance. The roots of hospitality industry was in western world in thesocial assistance form directed to rome. Hospitality industry have some laws regarding through theirsafety and health plans, equality, discrimination and safety plans. There are so many benefits anddisadvantages too in this industry so working with hospitality industry seems to be good experience.

Main bodyLaws in hospitality industryIt is a social and legal practice which is related to the treatment of guest. Laws of hospitality areengaged to protect both guests and hosts against injury, whether it is intentonally or accidentaly.Hospitality industry is surrounded with entertainment, arts, recreation and food services. Laws ofindustry are related to the employees and their health safety, protection, labor laws, hygiene, privacyand contracts(Kandampully, Zhang and Bilgihan., 2015). Some laws which are used by hotel industry.Anti discriminationHotels which are attempting to remove discrimination and harassment they will provide betterservices to customer and provide better workplace for the staff of industry. The law of anti discrimination gives good guide to hotel for creating fair and constant policies andprocedures. The results of discrimination against customer or staff can be low morale andproductivity, poor customer service, high staff turnover, reputation loss and costly legal actions. Federal legislation, which is manage by australian human rights commission, who also coversdiscrimination and it is based on someones religion, political opinion, medical record, criminalrecord and social origin. Discrimination in more than one area that concern hotel is against the lawand these concerns are the goods and services provided by hotel, which includes adjustment fordifferent situation and the practices for hotels employement. There are 2 types of discrimination: Direct discrimination and indirect discrimination(Pirani andArafat., 2016).Direct discrimination It is the treatment for unfair and unequal discrimination. Indirect discriminationDiscrimination which are unfair to particular groups and they have a requirement of practice, rule,policy and procedure which affect and same for everyone is a indirect discrimination.
