Children of age group 1 to 4 years that are dealing with domestic violence who has
started facing number of mental health related issues, which results in raising their concern for
numerous issues in regards to mental health where they started going through different problems
like Anxiety disorders, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Autism spectrum
disorder (ASD), Eating disorders, Mood disorders and Schizophrenia. It is important for parents
to talk about mental health related issues to their children and should have to include negative
aspect in that conversation. Along with this, it is important for parents to support their children
rather than performing domestic violence on them as well as have to ensure that they are
supportive people (Sayal and et. al., 2018).
On the other hand, typically this stays on the adults over a child's life to identify whether
the child has a mental health concern. Unfortunately, many adults don't know the signs and
symptoms of mental illness in children. Even if they know the red flags, it can be difficult to
distinguish different signs of a problem from normal childhood behaviour. In present context, to
support children with the age of 1 to 4 that deals with domestic violence, there are ample number
of programmes that has been built and developed like Early Childhood Programs and Pediatric
care programme that needs proper implementation
There are some other technique also through which children can overcome with issue of
domestic violence but these steps are taken by mainly family members explanation of these are
as follows :-
Eat well - The food individual eat has a serious impact on children's well being. Thus, by
ensuring that children is consuming a healthy given by their parents, nurses and so on like
well-rounded diet, result in both physically as well as mentally fit. It will result in
reducing the mental health related issues.
Reduction among the presence of abuse between intimate partners could directly lead to
implement the Early Childhood Programs and Pediatric care programme at home and at
hospitals as well.
