Abstract
The aim of this paper is to evaluate the role of leadership and vision in an
organisation. Leadership is one of the major ways of improving the degree
of productivity of an organisation by leading the human resources towards
appropriate direction. This is the way of providing the staffs with
necessary support, so that they can complete their allocated task with
utmost efficiency. Strong vision is one of the most important essences of
effective leadership, through which the leaders transforms their vision to
that of the followers. It is the prime role of leaders to create vision and
lead the staffs on the basis of vision. In this paper, the role of leadership,
the skills of efficient leaders and the process of creating vision will be
discussed. The vision of business giants from different industry will also be
presented in order to illustrate the discussion.

4LEADERSHIP AND VISION
1. Introduction:
In the highly volatile business environment, leadership is the key
factor of guiding the staffs towards appropriate direction and thereby
improve the degree of productivity. This is the mode of influencing the
staffs and support them to do their assigned task by their own. Strong
vision is the key essence of effective leadership and it the role of leaders
to articulate their vision to that of the others as it is the key factors of
guiding the staffs towards appropriate direction1. Good business leaders
hold the power of creating vision, articulating them among the staffs and
drive them in accordance with the vision. The leaders share their dream
and direction. In addition, leadership vision is nothing but the
manifestation of actions, values and beliefs of good organisational
leaders. Present paper will put forth the discussion of leadership and
vision in the context of -FOM Germany. Detailed discussion of leadership
and vision and their relationship will be discussed in the paper.
2. Leadership:
Leadership is defined as both research area and a practical skill,
which comprise of the ability of the people to lead and guide the
individual and team of employees within an organisation. Leadership, in
its simplest form is defined as the process, through which the executive in
an organisation can guide, direct and influence the behavior and work of
