Question 1
Describe 2 (two) organisational and workplace policies and
procedures related to providing leadership in the organisation.
(80-100 words)
Answer:
Code of conduct:- code of conduct is being
considered as the most common
organisation or workplace policy which
found in most of the firms. Behavioural
standard for the employees is established
by this which assist in effective leadership
within the organisation. In relation to ASDA,
management follow such code of conduct
within their company.
Health and safety policy:- this policy covers
an organisation obligations under work
safety laws. This policy cover risk
assessment, accident training and many
more which protect the employees. In
relation to the ASDA, safety policy is follow
by the management which assist in effective
leadership within the workplace.
Question 2
How is business ethics connected to leadership and an
organisation’s mission, objectives and values? (80-100 words)

Answer:Business ethics assist the leaders on
focusing on the values moral and beliefs of
the employees. The business leaders of the
ASDA company exemplify the ethical values

and embody the heart of a company. Along
with this, the mission and objectives of the
respective company reflects the ethical
beliefs. The management of the company
displaying the good ethical behaviour which
not only assist the leaders in achieving the
set goals but also help in making the good
relations with the clients. The management
of the ASDA beliefs in their employees
which increases the retention rate.
Question 3
Briefly describe the following concepts: “organisational
research” and “implementation methods” (80-100 words)
Answer:
Organizational research:- this may be
defined as a research which only obtain the
information about the firm and not about
the employees of the firm and the people
which are served by the organisation. The
organisational research is divided into three
categories such as information about the
firm obtained form the publicly available
record, non sensitive information obtain
form the interview and sensitive
information obtain through questionnaires.
Implementation methods:- implementation
methods is basically the methodology which
assist the organisation in implementing the
projects technically and operationally in the
field by using contractors and
subcontractors. This include two parts
method declaration and method body.
Question 4
What actions can an organisation take to establish and
maintain a positive work environment for individuals and
teams? Name 3 (three).

Answer:
Clear communication:- it is very important
for the organisation to understand that,
what they want from their employees to
accomplished and along with they also have
to understand the needs of the employees.

between the workers and the managers
develop and effective working environment.
Appreciate them:- if the employee of the
firm are appreciated or the managers
recognised the employees hard work, then
this is the best method to encourage the
positive working environment within the
workplace.
Listen their ideas:- if the manager listen to
their employees effectively or encourage
workers to voice ideas. Then this assist in
developing positive environment in the firm.
Question 5 What is the purpose of an organisational mission statement?
(100-150 words)
Answer: There are three main purpose of
the mission statement:-
1) Communicate the organizational
purpose to stakeholder:- these are basically
the key parties of the firm and with the help
of mission statement the information has
been effectively circulated and discussed.
The better understanding of the
organization purpose through this, the
better they will implement the strategy.
2)Inform strategy development:- the
mission statement of the company
effectively described all the strategies which
assist in achieving in set goals and
objectives. These statements develops a
bridge between the strategies and vision.
3)develop the measurable goals:- the
mission statement is basically a high level
guide which showcase the success and
failure of the strategies in order to achieve
the goals and objectives of the firm.
Question 6 Why is setting motivating goals important? (50 words max)
Answer: Motivating goals played a very
important role within the organisation. This
assist management in trigger the new
behaviour. Their is an important
relationship between the motivating goals
and the performance of the employees. If
