INTRODUCTIONManagement is one of the key and important part of each and every business and alongwith this leadership is also highly significant. When the leader or manager not having the properdecision making skills then cannot manage the firm, lead the team as well as take various kindsof crucial and complex decisions at the workplace. The current case study shows about theleadership as well as decision making skills and talents of the managers as well as leaders toachieve goals and objectives of the company. In the third part, the report provides explanation ofvarious types of skills in order to develop individuals and manage the overall entity to meet withthe aims and objectives.PART 3 - LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT AND DECISION MAKINGDecision making is crucial part of team working. It is a systematic criteria of selecting thebest solution from among the various alternatives. It is an exotic art of making effective choicewhich leads the team towards the heights of achieving success in an impressive manner. It helpsthe individual to generate innovative and fresh ideas with a view to successfully overcome thesituation they are dealing with. It provides the team members with wide range of creativethoughts, ideas and concepts which helps them to achieve the set target within predeterminedtime frame. Decision making act as a backbone in planning, organising, controlling andmanaging the activities in a systematic manner. It reflects the selection of an appropriate courseof action from wide range of alternatives (Shapiro and Stefkovich, 2016). It is a consultative andcumulative process which results in complete growth and development of an individual in thecorporate environment. The entire fabric of the team management including its day to dayfunctioning is highly built upon the decision making skills of its team members.Being a part of team, I can say that decision making skills plays a major role in gainingoverall success thereby maintaining winning edge in the eyes of corporate or institutionalstructure. It helps the team leaders to effectively plan their strategies by considering the thoughts,opinions and ideas of its different members in a significant way. This helps them to get widerange of expert solutions and it also benefits the team members to boost up their morale and levelof motivation to actively participate in the decision making process for the successfulaccomplishment of the given task in timely manner.
