INTRODUCTION
• Leadership management is a management in which the group are
being control and setting the entities to carry out the goal.
• The leadership is basically the ability to motivate and inspire
group of people so that they can perform better.
• This presentation will include concept of HPW culture. Further the
Management development programmes are determined and
techniques of coaching and mentoring are discussed.

Concept of HPW culture
• The high performance working culture in this individual uses to work hard
so that they can meet the goals.
• The employees of the company get more engaged and aligned with the
company's value with this the all the employees uses to trust each other
within the company.
• Steve Jobs also stated that the high performance working culture make
them more coordinated towards the common goal and being more engaged
in the company so that individual efficiency get maximize and
organizational goal are also achieved with effectiveness.

Management development programmes
• This is basically course which is developed to strength the relationship of
management people at all the levels. With this practise the employees of company
get motivated.
• Off the job Programs: This program the manager of the M&S uses to attend
different classes and seminars outside the campus of the company. This practise is
used my manager so that the employees can develop their skill more effectively and
efficiently when they are not stressed about the job responsibility.
• On the job Programs: Here the managers are making the employees more
engaged and motivated towards the work and the M&S. The knowledge, skills,
competency gets developed with this the employees reach their best potential.

• Coaching: The managers of M&S uses to provide need coaching to its employees so that
their doubt and concept related to the organization remain clear.
• When the employees know all the information then they are also going to work
accordingly and try to contribute more in the company which will assist in better
performance.
• Mentoring: In the M&S the managers had placed the experts as a mentor for the
employees who are new and need training and development. They regularly inspect their
work and guide them when they are in need of it.
• This practise of mentor uses to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the employees
so that they can make use of resource more optimally.

COACHING AND MENTORING
TECHNIQUES
• To develop the staff in Marks and Spencer the following coaching and mentoring techniques
can be used by the company.
• Listening: This is an effective coaching technique which can be used in Marks and Spencer in
which the employees are trained so that they can effectively work with better skills and
knowledge.
• Asking open-ended question: To know the interest of employees the organization uses to
ask to the employees. The coaching also involve the asking question to employees to gauging
the attitude of employees towards training.
• Communication: This is one of the main skill that is used to develop the employees of M&S
more effectively because when the employees can interact with the people more smoothly
then they will be effective.

MENTORING TECHNIQUES
• Group mentoring: in this process the M&S there are more than one mentors to provide instruction
to a group of mentees.
• There are different fields where this type of mentoring is being effective as the resource and time
are always limited to undertake the more mentoring programs for the employees.
• One on one mentoring: this type of mentoring are effective in small department where there are
fewer people and few are new employees

CONCLUSION
• This presentation concludes that leadership management is managing
the leaders effectively so that they can inspire and motivate group of
people effectively within the company.

improve their performance and reach the max potential.
