INTRODUCTION Sports Directis a sport retail company located in Shirebrook, United Kingdom was found by Mike Ashley in 1982. Company deals with the biggest brands for the category of men, women and kids clothes, footwear and accessories. Organizational Behavior is a study for academics of people interacting within groups and it applied primarily to make business operate effectively. The report will explain How Leadership can inspire and motivate staff members to improve performances and frame the aspects with effective models, methods and techniques. MAIN BODY Explaining the Leadership can inspire and motivate staff members Leadership is the capacity of a company's management which helps to set goal and inspire others to achieve it by performing at the highest level. The Leadership can motivate and inspire staff members with a responsibility by raising and maintaining morale and make employees to understand the value leader's contribution in the business, aims to achieve common goal(8 LEADERSHIP QUALITIES TO MOTIVATES AND INPIRESTEAM YOUR TEAM, 2021)Leadership qualities that can help Sports Direct to inspire and motivate teams:ï‚·Provide a vision and purpose-Leaders create an respiring vision for the employees to look forward and give purpose to the team. Through setting achievable and realistic visions, Leaders work with the team towards achieving goal. By sharing past-experience and personal stories leaders of the Sports Direct inspires,interpretand motivate the employees which clarify the purpose of the work and achieving goals. Models, methods, techniques Leadership theory Contingency Leadership theory- In contingency Leadership theory, leaders considered as part of a complex system which changes constantly.This approach helps in maintaining control in the organization in the best possible way as effective organizations might tailor the planning, organizing, leading and controlling to the particular circumstances and resolve issues efficiently. The art of leadership is useful to manage relationships in the company between people so that it leads positive environment and good working conditions in the company. For example:In case a manager facing a situation with an employee of the organization, regularly showing up late to work, manager can give notice to that employee(Kalsoom, Khan and Zubair, 2018). A manager could have a written protocol in which allows taking action in such condition. Motivation techniques Motivation techniques helps to Creating a positive culture by gamify and incentive ease the accomplishment of new strategies by management as it generates adaptability which enhance the growth of Sports Direct's. Gamify and incentive-Gamify and incentive helps in Creating a positive culture is a technique which help employees and other persons of the organization to keep motivated(ERKE and et.al., 2019).. Positive environment created by gamify at the working place helps to motivate the employees which ultimately improve the performance of employees. Sports Direct' leverage employees natural desire by allowing them for socializing, learning the mastery and provide incentives to keep motivated its employees. This technique helps company to achieve its goal.
